Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Ryan Grim---The congressional legislation intended to defund ACORN, passed with broad bipartisan support, is written so broadly that it applies to "any organization" that has been charged with breaking federal or state election laws, lobbying disclosure laws, campaign finance laws or filing fraudulent paperwork with any federal or state agency. It also applies to any of the employees, contractors or other folks affiliated with a group charged with any of those things. In other words, the bill could plausibly defund the entire military-industrial complex. Whoops.

Well, well, well, what have we here? The rightwing furor over ACORN might have just accomplished what a true Republican hero tried to warn about over half a century ago.

Wouldn't it be rich if the political machinations of the GOP actually turned off the spigot of taxpayer funding going to the military-industrial complex? How are the members going to be able to demonize ACORN for fraud yet excuse Lockheed, KBR, Grumman, and every other contractor that's ripped-off taxpayers for far more money than ACORN would see in hundreds of years?

Personally, I think its great, fraud SHOULD be eliminated and those perpetrating fraud turned away from the taxpayer's largess. But it looks like Tom DeLay won't be the only Republican dancing before tv cameras if this legislation does what it appears it might do.

Well, Tony, your boy is fucking up as I expected. His massive deficit spending makes the eonomy appear to be recovering like a drug addict on heroin who think he's cured of his addiction. The dollar is sinking, and gold is now outpacing the stock market. Those are serious warning signs of a shit storm to come when the heroin money wears off.

Let's count the change:
Expand losing war in Afghanistan.
Buys two losing auto companies.
Insures the collapsing real estate market.
Bails out crooked bankers.
Sinks dollar
Outspends Bush's eight years in only eight months.
Bailing out higher education.
Bailing out health care industry.

There is no chance the military-congressional-
industrial complex will be defunded. In fact, Obama increased military spending.

And I understand ACORN is reorganizing under a different name. Different president, same stuff on a more ambitious scale.

in reading the language, it seems that any hack attorney would've caught this - had they actually read it and focused just a bit on it.

WTF? which one applies?

1. The dumbest lawyers go to Congress;

2. None of our legislators actually read the shit that comes out; or

3. The Dems knew the effect, leading to the broad bipartisan support, while the dumbfuck Republican strong defense types were not paying attention.

Defunding the military industrial complex?

Shit. It's like someone read the constitution and then wrote this bill. It must be a fucking accident.

Oh and hey! It's tony aroma come to pay us a visit, say nothing of significance then amble away muttering about Sarah Palin.

Well rest assured MAC DADDY OBAMA, Chuck Gibson along with Skanky Nancy Pelosi will be just as "CLUELESS" about this as they were the first story. LIBATARDS will be proud to support being naive and clueless it's just the liberal way...

Time to reel yourself back in, your not making sense. The bias is like a cock in your mouth.
