It is difficult nowadays to discuss or make comments about the Islamic prophet Mohammed. By modern standards, this historical figures personal life was politically incorrect, to put it mildly. But given the influence of the religion he founded, why should it be off limits to discuss those uncomfortable aspects of his life? Why should it be off limits to focus attention on those historical facts which make believers in his religion so defensive and simultaneously make unbelievers-critics so skeptical? The man's actions and teachings while alive transformed the world. Should there really be any aspect of his life that deserves editorial protection or censorship?
