Very interesting.

That was Arte Johnson's line, SI

So long, Henry.
I'll miss your sense of humor....

That was Arte Johnson's line

So it was.

My bad.

While I always loved his work on "Laugh-In", his stint as a crazy judge on "Boston Legal" was absolutely his best work.
Thank you, Henry, you entertainment skills spanned several decades.

your entertainment skills.

Damn, more coffee, please.

Man, people are dropping like flies this week.

RIP Henry

And thanks for all the laughs

The funniest thing this guy ever did was die.

Aspire to greatness.

I hate Illinois Nazis.

I didn't know that was him! OK, now I'm saddened by his passing.

I was thinking the same thing. So fun to watch pros like Shatner and Gibson on that show. RIP.

RIP Henry.

Righties are just pissed he made such a mockery out of their beloved nazis in The Blues Brothers.

Funny how when talented people die, the same untalented folks mock their passing...

I remember Laugh-in from when I was a kid, funny shit, though I really didn't understand a lot of it...

I had a "here come da judge" t-shirt that I wore until it rotted off of my body...

And the poem/flower bit always killed. I remember, sometimes he couldn't even make it through without cracking up, funny shit...

RIP funny man, if there's a heaven, they're all laugh-in now...

Orange Whip? Orange Whip?

"Laugh in and Smothers Brothers were good commercial TV."

Yeah they were, and I think that probably The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour was the first and last show to be taken off the air while it was the most popular show on TV.
Henry Gibson was a classic, I loved his poems.

"Spring has sprung
The grass has ris
I wonder where the flowers is."

In 8th grade I did that skit with a guy in drama class.

It was the old man-- Henry Gibson-- hitting on Ruth Buzzy on the park bench.

I borrowed some girls purse and nearly killed the guy when I hit him with it. !!!

mumble mumble--do you want to go out? And SMACK goes the purse!!

lol

The purse must of had a brick in it. The guy stayed in character, but had a bruise the next day.

It was seriouly funny--got an A in drama.

RIP Henry--you were a good egg.

Murphy, you also have made a boo-boo and credited Gibson with Artie Johnson's character.

RIP Henry. You made a good foil to the wild craziness. I'd give you a big floppy flower if I could.

he's the only Nazi i ever loved! (in blues brothers)

He was AMAZING in Nashville!

It was seriouly funny--got an A in drama.

And you get an "A" for being a clueless fuck.

seriouly.

original Henry Gibson

I want to know where the non-original one is.

What the hell does "the original" mean?
