Bush's fault.

Tip --

Do not unscrew and pull out your 20" x 30" x 4" deep recessed into the wall bathroom medicine cabinet thinking you will replace it with a new one only to find out your house is old and they don't make that size anymore so you have to end up sanding and repainting the old cabinet you took out, rechroming the entire frame and edges, and then having to put the repainted medicine cabinet back into the wall again.

It does look pretty good now, though, but took me two days of painting and sanding.

Moral of story -- measure first, THEN look for new medicine cabinet replacement BEFORE you pull the whole thing out of the wall.

How do you get small amount of spray paint off of wallpaper?

Would diluted turpentine do it?

I already tried nailpolish remover but it didn't work.

I'll check back on here tomorrow.

The Problem: Helpless lonely bachelorette Chris has a lot of questions about home repairs and such and quite often lonely jack-of-all-trades bachelor Larry answers her questions.

The Solution: Larry moves to Californicate and he and Chris get married, he fixes all the stuff around their love nest and they dotingly make scornful remarks to each other about Republicans and "W" as foreplay.

Don't you just love happy endings? [sniff]

Gee I dunno Bruce I think Larry looks more like Jack Black than Barbra Streisand though she probably does have a bigger wang.

It's easier to link you to the video than it is to explain how to build it with text. I built one of these a few weeks back to root tomato cuttings that will be transplanted to soil later.

Hydrogen-Peroxide will get rid of any and all smells after a few minutes.

You might have to repeat a few times, but it's real good at what it does.

Get the ordinary drugstore kind and put it in a spray bottle. Use it all.

Give lemon juice a try too.

Oh sorry! I thought for a second you said SMELL...

Ignore post 9. Thanks.

For your problem, yes paint-thinner (turpentine) will do the job.

Just because your house smells doesn't mean everyone else's smells also.

But it doesn't smell.

Chris:

Is it vinyl wallpaper? What kind of paint is it?

Do you have any scraps of wallpaper or something of simular quality? I would test anything you use prior to putting it on the wallpaper.

Acetone should work. Use only white clothes, you don't want any dyes to come off on the wallpaper.

Put some of the acetone on the clean white rag. Always dab...DO NOT RUB!

You may have to repeat the process three or four times for it all to come off so don't be discouraged.

Chirs,

My standard housewarming gift is the Reader's Digest home repair book. It's like an owners manual. You can find it at any large bookstore for about $30
