Another worthless thread only Michael Moore would love. It is fucking comical for anyone here to surmise why, or if he chose to sit there. Unless someone can provide the Secret Service protocal and actions that seven minutes, it seems pretty fucking stupid to assume Bush wouldn't have sat there and adhered to those protecting him.

Orange County, The odd thing here is that while Cheney was whisked away to some secret location, the SS just let Bush languish in that classroom. This only makes sense if we knew the precise nature of the attacks.

I believe Cheney was in a secured building and I think the protocal was to move him to a so called safe room. Bush on the other hand was in a public venue, and no doubt was told to sit there until the area was cleared. Once Bush was in the air there was no contact and the flight was directed by the Secret Service. If I remember right, they flied around until Bush ordered the plane down so he could make a speech. There is no doubt in my mind, Cheney and Bush were doing what the Secret Service told them, until they knew the scope of the attack.
