Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Two 199-foot radio towers owned by a sports radio station near Snohomish were toppled by vandals using a stolen trackhoe. Though a banner for the Earth Liberation Front was left at the scene, the station's owner suspects it was planted to throw authorities off the track.

So, these ELF, people, engaged in censorship of radio stations, commits and act of "vandalism" when they do this, eh? Vandalism? Yeah, and the murdering of all those jews, gypsies, and slavs was merely "the final solution"......

"and the murdering of all those jews, gypsies, and slavs was merely "the final solution"

here we go again.

jon ryker has nazi germany permanently on the brain. everything is linked to the evil nazis. 'reductio ad hitlerum' is jon ryker's forte. i learned about this method of argument a couple years back in my sophomore debating club. back then i didn't realize there were actually those who make a living at it on the internet like jon ryker.

its amazing-- things you see in highschool and you think would disappear as people get out into the world and get a bit older actually get worse. people get stupider and waste a greater portion of their time as they get older.

Bush did it.

Vandalism? Yeah, and the murdering of all those jews, gypsies, and slavs was merely "the final solution"......

jonryker smells a new holocaust a-comin'. he thinks Obama is hitler and america is in the exact position like early 1930s nazi germany. oh, and anyone who disagrees with him is neville chamberlain.

According to the story, the "ELF" claim may be bogus.

Erisian Liberation Front?

I don't think they have a problem with Sportsradio Antennae.

Oh, you mean the Earth Liberation Front.

Nevermind.

What about those "HOBBIT" claims? Are they still legit? I already had doubts about those "ORC" claims, so that wouldn't shock me about "ELF."

I heard KUMA made a pro bono offer.

Joe was the best they could afford, but at least they won't have to look up to him.

So Joe can say that he represents the Lillipop Guild?

You're the Unknown Comic and I'm Jamie Farr rushing to the gong.

He's the one screen left.

It's a sad day when your imaginary girlfriend dumps you for your imaginary friend.

Nerfherder,

I know this is difficult for you, but I'm a teacher, and I'm patient....

The point was not about Obama...it is about the propensity of progressive press-types to blandly understate crimes committed on behalf of the Greater Good of Humanity, as described by whomever the current Fuhrer is, be that Bismark, Roosevelt, Wilson, Hoover, Roosevelt, Johnson, or the current light-weight, grade-hiding, face-man....

I'm sure there were similiar understatements when jews were shipped off by the trainload, or when millions died for The Cultural Revolution in China....it's all the same mindset, and many here share it....Now, do you?

I'm a teacher, and I'm patient....

Seriously, dude-get some therapy for that "Hitler" obsession of yours.

LOL, they're always doing shit like that up here.

Half the time it isn't even ELF, they're just well known and easy to blame.

I think all the rain and moss and fungi up here affects us up here.

I mean some of the best Serial Killers have come from here:
Ted Bundy
Green River Killer
Washington Beltway Sniper
etc

I thought it was Rosy Palm?

726,

Ahh, your'e back! Learned anything yet?

Frank55,

No, I don't like or often think about Hitler, although I did see a show today that pointed out that the SA, Hitler's original Brownshirts, where run mostly by homosexuals...irrelevant, but a further link between him and the Left...from which he came....

Lefties, on the other hand, usually pull Hilter references out to hurl against "righties" in an effort to cover up the fact that they have no ideas or understanding of history. I merely chose for today's lesson to pull out, in a variety of contexts, that Hitler was one of them.....As you can see from the posts today, they react in typical, knee-jerk, and still historically-ignroant fashion.....

We can't blame jonryker for being so confused. Hitler started the National Socialist Party of Germany, so naturally the least educated among us conclude that Hitler was a socialist, just has they think "...Bismark, Roosevelt, Wilson, Hoover, Roosevelt, Johnson, or the current light-weight, grade-hiding, face-man...." are socialists.

The fact that Hitler never enacted even one socialist policy in his short career, seems to have eluded jon and perhaps that is why he claims to be a teacher. People who profess false beliefs all consider themselves to be teachers and the the rest of us their students.

Personally I think the tower wrecking was either a well planned insurance fraud, or a disgruntled Farmer who was hoping to make a killing on subdividing his land before the towers wrecked his view.

If anything, the tower can hardly be called an environmental problem worth risking prison time to make a statement over.

jonryker, it is obvious you are a neoconservative. and that comes directly from ol' teddy roosevelt, who you wil lump together with the other progressives, but you are a hypocrite.

let me guess, you supported the invasion of iraq because you believe in spreading democracy. you believe that america has a moral duty to do so. in order to moralize this, you would characterize muslims, as other neocons do as "islamofascists" in order to radicalize them in the minds of people so you can achieve your progressive militaristic ends, and you believe the only way to "rid the world" of islamofascism is through a democratic crusade.

well, ol' teddy and woodrow wilson believed the same thing. they woulda loved you.

hypocrite.

"Hitler's original Brownshirts, where run mostly by homosexuals...irrelevant, but a further link between him and the Left" - JonRyker

Yet Hitler was on record, many times, as hating homosexuals. And he had Roehm, one of his most trusted aids, killed when he learned he was gay.

What crappy "link by association".

"Yet Hitler was on record, many times, as hating homosexuals."

kinda like michael savage. self-loathing at its highest level.

Nerherder,

I did not say Hitler was a homosexual...indeed, there is no evidence he was. He was, however, patently not against them until it was politically necessary. However, Erst Roehm, his oldest friend, and head of the Brownshirts, was, as were most of the officers in the SA, which Hitler defended long after Goring and Himmler started pushing to get rid of Roehm and the SA...eventually, they did, because Roehm, who considered Hitler a "traitor to the cause", was plotting a coup...

Of course Hitler, being an artist, was generally disposed very comfortable within the community.

Hitler also had jewish blood in his ancestry...I think we know how he treated them. This is why he resisted marriage, and refused to have children....

I know this is difficult for you, but I'm a teacher, and I'm a patient....

there, fixed that.

AILTD,

Hitler kept Roehm alive and in power for at least two years after the SS and the army wanted him dead and gone. Eventually, like all ambitious politicians, he threw his long-time friend overboard, after discovering that his long-time friend was plotting to take his 4.5 million man militia (kind of like our Fuhrer is asking for) and take over Germany....Now those are the facts....My point is that the myth of Hitler as the reactionary, right-wing, lefty-hating maniac is more than a bit twisted...by progressive writers....they were right about the maniac part, though......It took them until 1936 or so to figure it out, though.....

CJK85,

Ahh, when you have no facts...label...worked for Lenin! Come to think of it, it worked for Hitler too!

"Hitler kept Roehm alive and in power for at least two years after the SS and the army wanted him dead and gone." - JR

He did so as a counter balance between the SA and the SS. And because they had supported him when he rose in power. And because Roehm had expanded the SA from 70,000 members in 1931 to 4.5 million in 1934. Which was also the reason he had Roehm killed. Also because Roehm had decided to make himself the leader. BTW, Hitler stated that he didn't know Roehm was gay until 1934.

Hitler was detached from everything aside from his desire to become master of Germany and of making Germany the most powerful country in the world. To toss labels like "homosexual", "liberal", "socialist", etc. at Hitler is meaningless. Because they had no real meaning to him outside of how they related to his plan.

The real irony is; his real name is Michael Weiner.

Did Barry have something to do with this? It could be a covert attack on talk radio.

Did Barry have something to do with this? It could be a covert attack on talk radio.

Barry Goldwater died years ago, but yes, I suppose that's possible if you believe in ghosts.

My guess is Bush did it. He is the domestic terrorist in chief after all.

While I feel for the station owner and employees, I have to admit that losing a media outlet that's devoted to furthering sports doesn't seem like such a grave social trespass.
