But seriously, they do take their drinking to limits that most other cultures balk from. The modern Irish appear generally aware of this aspect of their culture and might do well to sell it as a benefit - Emerald Isle whiskey and stout tours!

They say "twat" so ridiculously often it's hard not to find them endearing while cursing.

That's the problem with Europe, actually two problems. 1) No country has a 1st Amendment so they pass hate speech and blasphemy laws, and 2) They think God is omnipotent but unable to defend Himself.
