Microsoft Ad Turns Black Man White

Microsoft has apologised for editing a photo to change a black man's head to that of a white man in an ad that appeared on a Polish web site.

Nice. They have the asian, black man and white woman. Nice to see heterosexual white males are still teh acceptable POS on the scene. Once blamed and faulted for every failure, then who will be blamed?

You have to read all the way to the end of the article. Apparently this was done because Poland has a large percentage of Michael Jackson fans.

Reminds me of when they artificially "integrated" the scene of the firemen raising the flag at ground zero. The USPS did not want all white males on the stamp.

We had a "real" black man who turned white where I worked. It was either a disease or some medication he took. Anyway he had to take a lot of shit from the black guys and the white guys pretended not to notice.

Commonsense, what did you go to? I have one Linux server running for some data, but all my other programs, accounting etc require windows.. (I have three offices connected via a vpn)..

You suppose wrong. A few years ago a school got in trouble for PhotoShopping black students into pictures for its brochures. They were trying to make the school look more diverse.

Now this is racism.

As a black man, I wish I was an employee for Microsoft right now. Great time to ask for that raise. I would walk into my boss' office casually holding a copy of the two ads in my right hand and brochure from a civil rights law firm in my left and ask for a huge raise and a crazy ass perk package.

If there any additional employment cuts at Microsoft this year, I can guarantee none of them will be black. MSFT would afraid of the lawsuits.

I normally fight against allegations of racism because most claims are bogus but I have to side with the libtards on this one. The ad left in the Asian employee. I do not believe that Asians are a significant population number in Poland and many are immigrants who fulfill jobs the Polish "don't want" like dishwashers, waiters, etc. They are the mexican immigrants of Poland. MSFT made a race based decision to remove a black employee's image so it would be appear more business appropriate playing into the racial stereotypes of the region.

It's not unusual to alter marketing to suit the country you are marketing to. I wouldn't be surprised to see the woman wearing a burka in muslim countries.
