Frog legs taste just like chicken. They'll jump out of the skillet while you cook them if you're not careful. They twitch when you cook 'em.

This pizza has anchovy sorbet, mmm, don't that sound good.

Serious, are frog leg bones edible? Do the bones cook up soft enough to eat without picking them out? Squirrel meat is good, but the gravy off a fat red squirrel is the best....

I don't care for sardines or anchovies on my pizza and frog legs would not rank as one of my preferred pizza toppings either.

From reading the article it seems the outcry is not so much the taste or thought of having frog legs as a pizza topping but the fact the frogs' legs are amputated while they are still alive. Surely there must be some way of spraying something on the frogs to kill them in a more humane manner before cutting off their legs?

When I was a kid in Marlin, Texas back in '60 - '63 we used to camp out by a nearby lake and gig bullfrogs.
Cooked 'em up on the campfire.

i'm not crazy about pizza, but i love me some fried frog legs!

p.s. - the bones are very thin, but definitely not edible - frog leg pizza is not that uncommon - neither is grasshopper or alligator pizza - just depends upon where you are.

frankly - anchovies on a pizza are much more disgusting.

I don't think legs belong on a pizza anyway....they belong in my lap-(clad in Nylon-of course..the Longer the better)
