A 77-year-old man died Monday night in a cemetery in western Quebec after a tombstone fell on top of him. Officers said the man had gone to St. Gregoire Cemetery to visit the site where his parents were buried and was digging next to a tombstone when it fell.

At least He saved a transportation charge to the cemetery. Hell He even tried to save them on the opening of the grave fee. What a considerate Man He is/Was.

Ingin Joe did it!

appropriate headstone?

create your own.

here's mine!

Must have been a huge tombstone...

When I read the headline, I visualized someone down in a grave digging, and the tombstone falling in on top of them....

In Canada?
Whew! For a minute there-I thought Hillary Clinton was at it again.....

When I read the headline, I couldn't help but notice it the last headline in that slot involved Cheney's health.

I'll admit, I peed a little..........

hope you were wearing your depends.

FATE

Sorry. I can't find a joke in this.

Constable: Why did you bring a shovel to the cemetery?

Dr. Frankenstein: I find your countenance and accusatory tones to be offensive.

On a serious note, the most beautiful cemetary I ever saw has no vertical tombstones, just markers flat on the ground. It makes a wonderful statement.

come on, lisa - the guy was dying to get into the place!

this reminds me only because of irony -- when my brother died in a car accident 20 years ago, tombstone/headstone sales reps visited our house to drop off sales brochures for my parents. Can anyone tell me if this is a common practice around the U.S. -- to be visited by these folks so quickly after a death in the family?

Irony part -- tombstone/headston reps going to this guys house.

headston -> headstone

I'm sure it was illegal to dig in the graveyard. A member of the public cannot disturb a graveyard in any way. Pulling up some weeds by hand is one thing, but he went beyond the pale.

And here I thought it must have been an XX Large...

......on the bright side.......

.....all the gravedigger had to do was kick a little dirt around the edges......
