ACORN's voter fraud has been broken wide open now that its offices in Nevada were raided and a about a dozen other states are now investigating voter fraud and ACORN's role in it. Well here's Barack Obama in a video telling ACORN and others that should he win the presidency they will help him shape his presidential agenda.

GOP Attacks on ACORN Are Based on the Fear of 1.3 Million New Voters

The Republicans tried to make fun of Barack Obama as a community organizer at their national convention in Minnesota, which I guess just goes to show how little Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert have to fear from right-wing "humor."

Now they've gone further: Now they're attacking ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), one of the strongest, hardest-working, most dedicated community organizations in both Chicago and in 40 states across the U.S.

Why we can't have just anybody think they can vote.

I don't care who votes, Zap, as long as it's legal. The whole point here is that ACORN is NOT policing itself. Much like the hatred spewed here on the retort towards anyone who appears right of center.

And not for that Arab

What Arab, Tigerbalm?

Is there someone in the race I haven't heard about?

What Arab, Tigerbalm?

The one in your mind.

Last time I heard, Obama is an American. Just like me, Zap.

Actually the charge against ACORN is voter registration fraud. Caused by the bottom rung people who are filling out false applications because they get paid per name. Has there been anything showing that any of these have translated into actual fraudulent votes being cast?

Well, if anyone needed any proof that Zap and Tigerbalm are racists, then just read the above examples of them playing their "cards"...you guys are pathetic, at best.

C'mon A1, don't be obtuse, you are quite familiar with the charge and the attempt to portray Obama as a Muslim Arab. We all are. It's been going on since day one of this campaign.

TFDNIGHLIST

And to imagine the Fox News (to be renamed Republican News Network soon) viewers believe any of that crap.

Here's an article that came out today about the schmuck, Andy Martin, who started that 'He's a Muslim' rumor, among others. Anti-Semite piece of work he is. Worth the read....

Well-it's not as if anyone needs more proof that you're a reiche-wing attack dog.

There's a difference between registration fraud and voter fraud.

One ACORN is guilty of, not the other.

Actually-ACORN isn't guilty of registration fraud-the peo;le ACORN pays to gather the signatures are-to get paid more-they(ACORN) point out-as required to by law-which signatures are questionable-and the State handles it from there.
This ACORN thing is something the r'tards drag out every two years to try to cloud the issues.
The raid and investigation in Nevada is rethug gaming of the system-to cloud the election.

"What Arab, Tigerbalm?"

The one that's under my bed.
Nobody else can see him but he's there whenever I muster the courage to take a look.

When an employee of a company does something illegally and in the name of that co., you sue both the person and the company.

In this respect, ACORN is guilty of shoddy hiring and failing to audit their work.

Ultimately though, I think registration fraud is a far lesser crime than voter fraud, though there isn't any widespread evidence of the latter.

McCain showing poor judgement by associating with folks over at ACORN.

Obama started building the base years before. For instance, ACORN noticed him when he was organizing on the far south side of the city with the Developing Communities Project. He was a very good organizer. When he returned from law school, we asked him to help us with a lawsuit to challenge the state of Illinois' refusal to abide by the National Voting Rights Act, also known as motor voter. Allied only with the state of Mississippi, Illinois had been refusing to allow mass-based voter registration according to the new law. Obama took the case, known as ACORN vs. Edgar (the name of the Republican governor at the time) and we won. Obama then went on to run a voter registration project with Project VOTE in 1992 that made it possible for Carol Moseley Braun to win the Senate that year. Project VOTE delivered 50,000 newly registered voters in that campaign (ACORN delivered about 5000 of them).

Since then, we have invited Obama to our leadership training sessions to run the session on power every year, and, as a result, many of our newly developing leaders got to know him before he ever ran for office. Thus it was natural for many of us to be active volunteers in his first campaign for STate Senate and then his failed bid for U.S. Congress in 1996. By the time he ran for U.S. Senate, we were old friends.

LOL!

You would think they would be a bit more creative, wouldn't you?

Who said this:

But let me say that before I even get inaugurated, during the transition we're going to be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda. (cheering) We're going to be having meetings all across the country with community organizations so that you have input into the agenda of the next presidency of the United States of America!

Same guy who said this:

I have nothing to do with ACORN; I never had anything to do with them. I may have known some people there, but ACORN is just some group down the street in the neighborhood that had a sign out that said "ACORN." I don't know anything about ACORN.

Fucking liar. Go ahead defend that one libs.

the one county in the mid west has already called out for help. there is so many fraudulent forms that they cant do them all themsleves.

What's to stop a not so honest ACORD volunteer who volunteers to work at a voting place when the early votes start coming in from tossing in a few handfuls of those fraudulent forms?

ACORN Keynote Speaker in 2006:

John McCain

Funny,

I don't see where McCain funneled $800,000 to ACORN,

Do you?
