Ayers & Obama did work for the Annenberg foundation. Annenberg was strong Reagan supporter, Mrs. Annenberg worked for Reagan and she supports McCain, McCain lists her name as a supporter.

so McCain actually has more ties to Ayers than Obama, wow. Hope he brings this up in the debate.

A better question is whether a President should do it during official business and whether he expects it to make a difference when it appears that he himself is not making much of an effort to.
