Wells Fargo just took over Wachovia as they tedored over the edge. However I suspect many large banks probably gave money to the RNC as big business typically supports the big-business party.
I am kinda glad they did give this money as now Wachovia does not exist, we got them.

Just goes to show you how much lack of judgement Wachovia's management has who approved this idiotic loan.

as they tedored over the edge

Hahahaha! Funny Flag! Thanx for the laugh...I'm teetering on the edge of my seat....

Wow! That must be one hell of a seat-to have tits on the edge.....

Why not just have a rnc+dnc bailout too. Just pay them all off. Oh that's right. We have lobbies for that function.

Republicans are inherently corrupt. Everyone in the GOP should be arrested. Even if they didn't commit a crime per se, they're guilty because they've actively aided known criminals.

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, is bankrupt, they have no ideas other than to tell thier sorry followers that Senator Obama is an African American. YOU THINK!!!! These sorry BASTARDS gave us two terms of GEORGE W. BUSH, for that alone they should all be ashamed of themselves, but no chance these fucks only want responsibility from everyone but themselves......

I celery most big money wall street types back the democrats. So what does that say about YOUR holier than thou point of view? IE goldman sachs, morgan stanley, asset managers, and hedge funds dude....

Big money just gives a fuck about big money, and since the party that supports big money's going to lose, big money's got to cut their losses and get to work on the party that will win. Both parties, bought and paid for.

GOP--Party of the empty, bankrupt suits.

I've already admitted to being suckered by George W Bush in 2000 when he ran on a limited involvement type foreign policy.

Now, can you admit that the democrats failed the American People by nominated an even bigger failure in 2004?

It's about time you folks bothered to nominate someone with fucking charisma. It was getting comical how the left would continuously nominate the most wooden, inanimate politicians to ever run for office.

Both parties, bought and paid for.

Trust me, wachovia will live on because they clearly give these party hackers money through nefarious means.

is it just me or do the rest of you on ANY SIDe see the name celisary and just read the bullshit in CAPS.....

oh well............

can we also remember the millions given out by mae and mac to all of the DEMOCRATS with barry right at the top and then remember that THESE SAME DEMS ALL VOTED NO when mccain just two years ago treid to regulate them.

OH NO we cant have any reports like that here now can we??????????????

"when mccain just two years ago treid to regulate them"

Anytime a claim is made that Republicans tried to make MORE regulation, one must be extremely skeptical of the reality as opposed to political marketing. I don't know the details, but I do know that as a rule Republicans oppose regulation, and that Barney Frank sponsored a different bill to regulate Fannie and Freddie a year ago. I suspect what people are calling Republican regulation was actually an attempt to strangle to death those government supported programs in order to hand over the playing field to the corporate banks and other big money buddies of the Republicans. When Republicans close EPA libraries, and try to increase pollution with the bogusly named Clear Skies Act, then they are most probably lying when they say Democrats stopped Republicans from making MORE regulation.
The bollocks more like.

" I suspect what people are calling Republican regulation was actually an attempt to strangle to death those government supported programs in order to hand over the playing field to the corporate banks and other big money buddies of the Republicans. "

The bill would have given oversight(!) to the Treasury Department.

Rethuglican Greenspan had a plan to make money out of thin air. Now, bailout money is being used to fund the Rethuglicans that created the illusions that have destroyed our economy.

Meanwhile, Democrats, compromised by a wiretapping program that began secretly on Shrub's first day in office, SAY NOTHING.

Our system of Government is hopelessly corrupt. Where are the Black Panthers and Symbionese Liberation Army when we need them?
