So lets see now, what happened?
The AK Democrats spent about $100,000 of AK taxpayer money and the result?
The commission came up with the SAME recommendation that Gov Sarah Palin gave them for FREE...
That the matter is something that has to be ruled upon by the Personnel Commission!
Gee, why take free advice when you can funnel $100,000 into your Democrat Lawyer buddy's bank account at the expense of the AK taxpayer?
By the way, there is NO WAY that this charge can be PROVEN unless the examiners can read minds!
Not one piece of paper, one memo, one e-mail or one verbal conversation witnessed by ANYONE states that she fired this guy for not firing her ex-brother-in-law.
Even the guy who was fired didn't say that this was his reason for being fired until the Obamarobots got to him and convinced him to say so. Check the news reports from WHEN IT HAPPENED and see if you can find a SINGLE ONE that says he was fired for not dumping Trooper Wooten.
IN FACT he wasn't FIRED, he was offered the position of Executive Director of the state Alcohol Control Board. He turned the position DOWN.
Would you offer a person another high position in the State Government as punishment for not firing your ex-brother-in-law? Hardly.
Why did he wait until a week after his so-called "firing" before he began saying it was because he wouldn't fire Wooten? If he felt the firing was for that reason, why didn't he say so immediately?
In fact on August 28 (almost TWO months after he left the government), in an interview with Anchorage Daily News, Monegan said, "For the record, no one ever said fire Wooten. Not the governor. Not Todd. Not any of the other staff.
So how does the governor NOT asking him to fire Wooten constitute pressure to fire him?
