John McCain's surrogates love to call Bill Ayers an "unrepentant terrorist" and point out his link to Obama. Not it appears that John McCain has his own link to Bill Ayers. The McCain campaign is being funded by the same person responsible for funding the Weather Underground member.

Earlier this week the McCain campaign touted their relationship with Bill Ayers benefactor when they included her on a list of 100 Ambassadors who have endorsed John McCain for President.

"One question, among many raised in recent weeks, had to do with whether my financial support in any way influenced several political figures to take up my cause. I want to say in the most forceful way I can: I certainly hope so."
-Charlie "McCain's In My Pocket" Keating

McCain is doing a good job in polotics of distraction and picked up a couple points in the polls over the weekend.

A recent e-mail I received:

Subject: Re: The Parking Ticket

The other day I went downtown to run a few errands. I went into the local coffee shop for a snack. I was only there for about 5 minutes. When I came out, there was this cop writing out a parking ticket. I said to him, "Come on, man, how about giving a retired person a break?"

He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. His insensitivity annoyed me, so I called him a "doughnut eating android." He glared at me and then wrote out another ticket for having worn tires.

So I proceeded to call him "ticket-writing robot in blue." He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he wrote a third ticket. This went on for about 10 minutes. The more I talked back to him the more tickets he wrote.

Personally, I didn't really care. I came downtown on the bus. The car that he was putting the tickets on had one of those bumper stickers that said, "McCain - Palin".

I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm retired. The doctor tells me that it's important for my health.
