"As we say in the infantry, this is a guy you take on a long patrol," Powell testified.

Especially when you're chasing those mobile chemical weapons labs, Colin? Of course, if you ever came to a ravine to cross, Ted'd definitely be your go-to guy.

Powell is a whore. he has already shown that his voice and principals are for sale

Is that the last nail in the coffin of Powell's good reputation?

LMAO

"Is that the last nail in the coffin of Powell's good reputation?"

That was in 2003.

Now it's just Zombie Colin.

LOL. Good point. I remember sitting with a philosophy prof in a diner the day Powell appeared before the UN. He was talking about how Powell really made the case for war and I was thinking.... is this guy really a philosopher?

Interesting.
I was having lunch with two Physics profs, their reaction was, "There goes the last vestige of credibility in this administration."

See? I told you I should have gone the physics route.

Sadly, a majority of this country still found the admin. credible enough to elect them to a second term.

Powell shills fer Stevens?

Yeesh!

Was Colin Powell's credibility having another fire sale or sommat?

Did he bring charts and crayoned drawings explaining exacttly where he thought Ted Stevens character was located?

"Behind the mobile weapons lab" you say?

Wot next fer Colin? Selling his positive character assessments on the street dressed in pair of hot pants and tube top?

Spud actually used to respect that guy a while back.

"They say the higher the leap, the harder the ground"

Be Well.

If I were on that JURY, the testimony from a LIAR like Colin Powell would be enough for me to convict the BASTARD!!!!! Mr. Powell has no credibility, NONE, NADA he lied in fron of the whole World. Mr Powell needs to fucking go away....A true American Hero, tainted by the like of BUSH/CHENEY, what a disgrace!!!!

Celisary is a virus.

At least one Dem senator (Daniel Inouye of Hawaii),
and, health permitting, Kennedy, want to testify as to Steven's great character.

And back to Powell :
"Powell, who shook the senator's hand before the jury entered the courtroom, said he didn't know anything about the charges that Stevens lied on Senate forms to conceal Allen's gifts."

Good ole boy's club indeed.

"Long patrol"....the one your lieutenant didn't make it back from.

When I read accusations that he'd helped the Pentagon try to cover up the Mi-Lai Massacre-I realized he'd lost his soul-and any Honor he may have had-back then.

'Colon POW': sounds like a very effective laxative.
