Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, another powerful Chicago-based political figure associated with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and other long-time associates of Democratic Party presidential candidate Barack Obama, is leaving no doubt about what he thinks of the leader in the campaign for the White House.

He says when Obama talks "the Messiah is absolutely speaking."

If Farrakhan thinks Obama is the (Christian) Messiah, will Farrakhan convert to Christianity? Is Obama on a covert evangelical mission?

Join us Brother Farrakhan. We'll fully baptize you with complete immersion so that your body and soul are cleansed and you come to Christ as a believer.

You know it's funny the right always declares if Obama doesn't disavow people like Rev Wright and Farrakhan then He supports their position until they want to use something one of them says about Obama then they will trot them ou to try their level best to discredit Obama. If that ain't some fucked up Bullshit then I don't know what is.

FF fer weenie...uh...I mean "johnson".

From the article:

Farrakhan said, "Barack Obama to me, is a herald of the Messiah. Barack Obama is like the trumpet that alerts you something new, something better is on the way."

Kinda makes yer headline look like bullshit.

So what else is new?

Any truth to the rumor Farrakhan is angling to be Ambassador to Israel?

To be serious for just a moment, the more the likes of Farrakhan can be tied to Obama the more difficult it'll be for BHO to win over undecideds.

His supporters will dismiss the ties as cursory or irrelevant. His detractors will seize upon them as evidence of bad judgement and perhaps nefarious motives.

We all know if someone like David Duke went public in his support for McCain that that would be a big news story. Now excuse me while I iron my sheet. We have a big 'meeting' tonight on the east side.

"the more the likes of Farrakhan can be tied to Obama"

Whether in context or not, true or not. Typical (R).

The Desperation is mighty thick with the righties. Whats the matter Hmmmmmmmmmm Losing Your shirt and Now Your shorts?? Next thing You know You will be naked November 05 2008. Sucks to be You.

Aren't you embarrassed?

Do you know why farrakhan is still relevant?

bottom line is that his preaching is relevant, or at least as relevant as any of the other religions.

the nation of islam, as distasteful as their beliefs are to me, is a relatively peaceful citizen.

i love it when christians spew out thier bullshit and then bust a blood vessel over some other religion's bullshit. and the reasonable people of the world have let these fucking whackos dominate the narrative.

... yeah Lip? You might wanna go ahead and read up on the NOI's beliefs. They make the fundy Christians look _really sane_.

Anyone for a flight on the "Mother Wheel"?

"You might wanna go ahead and read up on the NOI's beliefs. They make the fundy Christians look _really sane_."

More or less sane than the Thetanists?

More or less than the Ressurectionists?

"More or less sane than the Thetanists?"

You mean Scientologists? Not Christians, so not relevant to my statement.

"More or less than the Ressurectionists?"

You mean these guys? en.wikipedia.org So they're monks? All religions have those. As far as monks go, they seem pretty average.

Or do you mean these guys?

www.resurrectionists.com

Seem like your average everyday Christians. Not even all that fundy seeming.

/... and, shockingly, your typo version ("Ressurectionists") also came up with something. (lol)/

Maybe you mean these guys?

www.myspace.com

Their music is kinda crappy, but I'm gonna go ahead and give the NOI the nod for crazier.

Here, let's go ahead and bring the Scientologists back into this anyway.

Chew on this for a bit, en.wikipedia.org

Anyone care to go on record as to what's crazier?

In one corner, we have The Scientologists, who believe we have to watch out for the return of the evil Xenu and his DC-10 shaped starships. We have to purge our souls of all the negative feelings, or "clear" ourselves, to be able to.. fight him? What is it we're supposed to do again? Look, I can;t even keep straight what the Scientologists believe because it sounds way too much like Hubbard's regular sci fi. (which is actually _really good_. Betcha Frank Herbert coulda made a more cogent religion though based on Dune, lol)

In the other corner, we have the Nation of Islam, who believes that pre-history black people.. though they were native to Japan somehow.. came up with an alloy that cannot be matched to this day, and made a big flying planet-wheel that has lots of little baby planet-wheels that dropped super-advanced bombs to balance the Earth like you balance a tire. And then somehow lost all this technology because they started having little white and yellow babies. Or something. But the Mother Wheel is still out there. And it interfered in the first Iraq War.

Honestly guys, I'm kinda thinking that these guys really do make even the Fundies, with their end of the world super rapture Jesus vs. the Zombies stuff look like fourth infantry pikers.

Aren't you embarrassed?

Are you saying it's fake? Doctored somehow?

Or just not newsworthy, that the head of the Nation of Islam sees Barack Obama are a precursor to the true Messiah's return to planet earth?

Me? I just think it's funny. This board is populated by atheists who belittle conservative Republicans for worshipping a cookie monster in the sky, but will be voting for a fellow leftie who goes to great pains to explain his Christianity.

Better than TV.

Farrakhan points out that the man Nation of Islam followers refer to as "the Savior," Fard Muhammad, had a black father and a white mother, just as Obama did.

"A black man with a white mother became a savior to us," he said. "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall.

Shut. Up.

This board is populated by atheists who belittle conservative Republicans for worshipping a cookie monster in the sky,

the cookie monster was entertaining.

Farrakhan is just another full of shit huckster with a funny hat. if it comes out of his mouth, its bullshit.
Farrakhan says that the white man is the devil. If the white man is the devil, wouldn't that make Obama at least half white devil. If Obama is half devil. How could he be the messiah?
People are such sheep.

Republican bullshit article trying to paint Obama as a bad person. Must be Tucker Bounds.

Just more bullshit being put on here to assignate the character of Barack Obama. You guys aren't gona win Pubs.

Farrakhan is just another full of shit huckster with a funny hat. if it comes out of his mouth, its bullshit.

Does he recognize a like soul in Obama? Or does he feel that his ideological damnation of whitey may reach fulfillment?
Farrakhan says that the white man is the devil. If the white man is the devil, wouldn't that make Obama at least half white devil. If Obama is half devil. How could he be the messiah?

Farrakhan himself is part white, and reputedly has some Jewish blood. Reality is no bar to formulation and adoption of ideas by ideologues. They are very selective in excising material that is without import, which is any material that would dispute their conclusions.
People are such sheep.

Yes indeed. Imagine that "people" support a man who:

1) Is a brain damaged cokehead. Crack cocaine use has done residual damage and compromised Obama as is evident in extemperaneous forums.

2) Is a schizophrenic self-medicating himself with nicotine with his chain-smoking, and a man with lessened affect, whose supposed aloofness is due to his mental illness.

3) Is a narcissistic borderline personality, who is adored by his "Cult of the Personality" followers. He is the same personality type as Stalin, Hitler, and Mao, who justified the murder of hundreds of millions of people on ideological grounds, and used ideology and a personality cult as a vehicle to seize personal power.

4) Has been indoctrinated with communist ideology since childhood by among others his paternal grandfather, his paternal grandfather's friend and his own surrogate father, Frank Davis, career Communist Party apparatchek, and by Bill Ayers, domestic terrorist and avowed communist, who has sponsored and advanced Obama's career, apparently on the basis that Obama will further Ayers' programs to make America a socialist/communist country.

5) Was nurtured for some 20 years by a racist hate-monger, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whom Obama identified as his mentor, his guide, and his friend, and who preached "God damn America," hate whitey, hate Jews.

Well, there's more JeffnDenmark, but why bother relating it, since any criticism bypasses rational ideational processes and is routed by the brain of the Obama worshiper in such a way as to reinforce support "by the sheep" for Obama. That's the expectation for those aware of the process, and the reality. You folks are dismissive of all of these negative aspects of Obama's being, either summarily rejecting them despite overwhelming evidence, or minimizing, or justifying his positions. Why?

Well, there's the rub. You've passed a psychological pivot point, so the worst is yet to come. It's "enlightened" lefties, who yearn for a black, whatever his shortcomings, who will fail to realize that they are similar to a frog immersed in water, not recognizing incremental changes until they are doomed. When America is subjected to totalitarian rule, it will be imposed by the left.

I don't know how many of you have been to China in the Mao era, and seen the pictures of Comrade Mao plastered all over in the past. Well, now Obama is adulated by his followers, and his image plastered all over.

Johnson reminds me of Alexandre Dumas, writing a novel in serial form, sitting in a Parisian bar, chugging on a beaker of booze with one hand, fondling a wench on his knee, occasionally writing out a page and handing it to the eager messenger boy to take down to the press for publication later that day.

He reminds me of James Joyce sitting in his Parisian bar churning out Finnegan's Wake. Johnson's screeds are marginally more comprehensible but make even less sense to all but fully indoctrinated members of the right wing insane asylum.

Farrakhan thinks he's MLK. He isn't, he's more like the Reverend Sun Myung Moon. The followers in his cult care what he says but, apart from FOX News, nobody else does.

I should have said "the right wing wacko Reverend Sun Myung Moon".
