I don't doubt it, I just don't think he'll be getting any money. The pizza joint is in a bad part of town and a guy from that very place was murdered a few years ago on New Years Eve while delivering.
In fact, Buffalo has had a rash of these assaults on delivery men. About a year ago one driver was beaten so badly he was permanently brain damaged.

Our taxi drivers and pizza delivery guys are basically under constant attack. I'm pretty sure we didn't have this problem until 2000.

Good, the scumbag doesn't deserve it. But he will waste court time and money for the defendants. It would be interesting to see if it is settled out of court before it goes to trial.

I am sure the lawyer is planning on suing the manufacturer of the gun too.

NY sure ain't Texas!

I used to live in New England and had occasion to mosey over to both upstate New York and NYC once in a while and most folks in upstate NY were nothing like NYC folks. Matter of fact they were more like Texans and I respected them for that.

The delivery guy did the right thing in defending himself against the punks.
