Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Paul Krugman believes the U.S. must follow Britain's lead and inject as much as $500 billion in capital to the country's banks to get them lending again. "[T]he time to act is now," he writes. "You may think that things can't get any worse -- but they can, and if nothing is done in the next few days, they will."

This is why I was against the $700 billion last week. Now they just want more.

ACORN ACORN ACORN ACORN

Repeat the talking points until they tell you to start repeating a new one.
Mindless morons easily manipulated.

Again Danni ignores reality. Again Danni is OK with voter fraud as long as it benefits the Dems.

You are a hypocrite, but we already knew that.

For some reason, the link is blocked here at work, so I have a question:

How does Krugman suggest this injection? Creating new money out of thin air and paper? Or does he have another method in mind?

Anyone see this article in the Washington Times today...

washingtontimes.com

WoW if this is true I wonder if the main stream media will pick it up... Of course Obama is going to deny it but what do the Iraqi's have to gain by mentioning it..

NOW, NOW 101....give Danni a break here. Her ACORN refrain is simply her desperate scream to beg that nobody EVER say a negative word about her dear Democratic party. Ya' know why? Cause Danni can't handle the truth or anything that breaks that fragile bubble dreamlike state of hers. But, yes, it does highlight her eternal hypocrisy.

Ride_ON, you are walking a fine line. If you condemn the Democratic party's candidate you might be labeled as a Racist!!!!

better not mention ACORN, or Ayers, or his medaling in Foreign affairs with IRAQ undermining the president, or anything else. Don't you know that by saying anything negative about him you are a racist....

"Again Danni ignores reality. Again Danni is OK with voter fraud as long as it benefits the Dems."

Miniscule numbers compared to the purges going on in many states but then liars who pretended that 2000 and 2004 weren't stolen never consider anything except the taling points they are fed by the right wing pundits.

"or his medaling in Foreign affairs with IRAQ undermining the president,"

hahahahah....too bad Malaki and Bush too took his advice....leaving John McAncient odd man out.

"WoW if this is true I wonder if the main stream media will pick it up... "

They did:

What's funny is we are talking about documented cases. You're accusing others of using talking points (that are actually documented cases of proven ACORN fraud) while spewing the most tired of talking points from 2000 and 2004.

I'm surprised somebody as stupid as you is so outspoken.

Finally!

Finally Danni manages a post without referring to "TALKING POINTS"

She's used the phrase so many times -- put it under such incredible environmental pressure -- that her favorite cliche has evolved into "TALING POINTS"

Who knew Danni was an experimental scientist?

Cork, Truth,

Excellent deflection of the current facts. I am assuming you were against it then or was it ok for them to make the hostages a political ploy at that time...

Mr. Sick

Good name for a band.

"Excellent deflection of the current facts."

ROTFLMAO!

"Current" facts! LOL!!!

Was I against Ronnie Raygun Zap! making deals with terrorists in order to win the election?

You betcha.

Wow dont hurt yourself.. Since you can't answer the question i will say it AGAIN. SLOWER THIS TIME
were
you
against
it
then
or
was
it
ok
for
them
to
make
the
hostages
a
political
ploy
at
that
time?

Cork, so is it ok though for Obama to meddle in the affairs now?

I'm surprised somebody as stupid as you is so outspoken.

Stupid people always say the same things over and over. They are not capable of new thoughts or ideas.

That's why fresh facts and new points of view are wasted on Danni. She decided 27 years ago what she believes, and nothing will change that.

You've meet people like that. Angry, bitter, nasty, but most of all narrow and closed minded. A new idea is disturbing to them because it means they've pissed away their life being assholes and bigots.

So, it's easier to stay with the familiar, even if it stinks of decay.

Again Danni ignores reality.

Everything is fair in politics. As long as nobody can prove it. Carter wanted to change our energy policy. Reagan wanted to keep it the way it was(is). Iran had a vested interest to keep the status quo.

They kept the hostages until the moment Reagan was walking to the podium to be sworn in. Their oil was then assured to keep flowing. Reagan would then be perceived as being powerful, (ie; the Iranians are afraid of him) and Carter got his ass handed to him.

It's all fair. Reagan team outsmarted Carter's.

Let's review the "facts" here:

When one side does something despicable to help their candidate it is ignored and/or rationalized.

When the other side does something despicable to help their candidate it is labeled un-American treason.

This is known as politics, American style.

Anyone with the sprouting of hair on their genitalia understands this.

Those who don't ("were you against it then...") need to grow some.

Ao1

Why don't you start a thread on this subject, if there isn't one already.

But, the story is laughable. Hil was beating the drums to anyone who would listen that the Lame Bush should not be allowed to make any such long term deals.

Nothing secret about it.

"It's all fair. Reagan team outsmarted Carter's."

LOL, LeeAtwater. The only problem is: FF or Newsworthy?

If we do not follow this advice, one might easily imagine another 2000 point drop.

Vern, you just described wot's wrong with the right to a T!

The GOP are the party of regressive backwards looking politics, they are the party of segregation and inequality.

Creationism v Evolution?
Equal Rights fer gays v. An ammendment denying it?
Stem cell research v. throwing hope away in the trash?
Global Warming science v. BigOil propaganda?
Allowing Women the right to control their own bodie v. Making them prisoners of their own bodies?

Face it, Verm, You and yer ilk are basically trying to drag the US kicking and screaming back into another century much like the religulous mullahs in the ME.

Guess you guys just find it easier to hate the future than have hope for it.

Good luck with all that.

Maybe to you it is but I don't vote for those who commit treason like Reagan did. Very telling about how Republicans view politics. Everything is ok with them as long as they win.

aaaaaaaaaassssssssssssseeeee!!
!!! Do NOT bring your ass into this thread.

RCADE, abort this thread. ABORT! Hell, the "lefties" can go along with that too....particularly under these dire circumstances (even the "righties" too).

better not mention ACORN, or Ayers, or his medaling in Foreign affairs with IRAQ undermining the president, or anything else. Don't you know that by saying anything negative about him you are a racist....

No, it's just that by repeating lies you prove that you have nothing positive to say about McCain. Can you give me a reason to vote FOR McCain? Can you give me a reason to vote against Obama that isn't a lie?

ACORN didn't commit voter fraud. When they go out to register new voters, they are required, BY LAW, to submitt all voter registration forms to the State as is. It is the job of the State to review the forms and determine their legitimacy.
If ACORN had tossed out forms they knew to be bad, they would have been violating the law.
Obama didn't do anything wrong with regards to Ayers. In your eyes he should have run screaming from a washed up radical, as apparently McCain would have done. Run screaming like a coward from a school board because of one member? That's how McCain would lead?
And the Iraq troop thing was debunked in July.

So if old lies are all you've got left, well, good luck with that.
According to ARG, Obama is up 50-42 in freakin West Virginia. So keep up the good work guys Obama might hit 400 EVs yet.

I happen to have a very nice ass from running all these years. Probably looks more like a thirty year old's....a thirty year old that is in good shape that is.

NORM facts don't matter when a right wing frenzy of desperation occurs.

Bush isn't merely pushing the country into the toilet, he's holding it under while he flushes. McBush figures to change nothing. So the righties frothing against change are sort of like the crew of the Titanic, chanting that captains always know what they're doing, even while the ship is sinking. herm

aaaaaaaaassee! NO!

For those of you who thik we didn't need the bailout, how would you handle it?

Ok, ok....moment of truth...I actually like nice ass on women......(so, ok...a hypocrite just this once). ;-)

Krugman is a cancer. This piece of trash is using his platform to destroy America.

reality = the whole system is a house of cards.

Please check this out.

Subject: PBS SarahPalin poll

PBS has an online poll posted asking if Sarah Palin is qualified. Apparently the republican party platform knew about this in advance and are flooding the voting with YES votes.

The poll will be reported on PBS and picked up by
mainstream media. It can influence undecided voters
in swing states.

Please do two things -- takes 20 seconds.

1) Click on link and vote yourself.

Here's the link:
www.pbs.org

2) Then send this to every single Obama-Biden voter
you know, and urge them to vote and pass it on.
The last thing we need is PBS saying their viewers
think Sarah Palin is qualified.

Why provide a link if we can't go to it.

No wonder so many other subjects are in this thread.

According to Michael Hudson our fearless leaders have already flushed $6 trillion down the bailout toilet, without accomplishing a single thing. Only $63 trillion togo.

Corky,

Just remember, your grandchildren will be asking my kids for a job

"Ok, ok....moment of truth...I actually like nice ass on women......(so, ok...a hypocrite just this once)"

Wrong, as usual.

People of every persuasion know that we need a new direction.

But taking a path of punishing taxes, military pacifism and trade protectionism is not the way. If you were less of a frothy partisan and more of a historian, you'd know that this was how we got into World War II.

Did you wanna compare Zip Codes, Vermin?

My grand kids will the children of a PH.d. holder, thank you very much, and with every opportunity in the world to become whatever they want in life.

Your's will be wondering why Gramps wanders around in his Depends, mumbling something about a lost calculator.

- punishing taxes

Verm is one that likes to whine about a stated rate that is less than Reagan's, when the effective corporate rate after favors of tax law they have purchased thru bribes is one of the lowest corporate rates in the world.

"a path of punishing taxes"

The same path which led to the DJIA more than tripling.

Remind us...has it tripled under George Bush?

Corky,

Just remember, your grandchildren will be asking my kids for a job

Dear iqof1:
Kerry couldn't get elected president, and HE certainly "medaled" around in Vietnam. As for undermining the president, you mean like McPOW did when he prowled the streets of Baghdad in body armor with helicopters overhead, later declaring the city safe?

Please change your moniker to the one I use for you...that one's accurate for you.

You're just jealous cuz you lack the courage to leave your soft suburban life, with Wal-Mart, McDonald's and Kroger up the street. If you visited a foreign country you'd be a pissy pants quivering sack of shit in a few hours.

My children speak four languages and hold two passports. Like Corky, your vermin can't speak English and aspire to work at CostCo.

But not to worry. Many people in Taiwan speak some English, and your children will have plenty of job opportunities as caregivers for old people here. Feeding them and wiping their asses.

"If you visited a foreign country you'd be a pissy pants quivering sack of shit in a few hours."

Which is why Americans rarely, if ever, travel outside of the USA [/snark]
