You are a fluke
Of the universe.
You have no right to be here.....

Go placidly
Amid the noise and waste.
And remember what comfort there may be
In owning a piece thereof.
Avoid quiet and passive persons
Unless you are in need of sleep.
Rotate your tires.
Speak glowingly of those greater than yourself
And heed well their advice,
Even though they be assholes.
Know what to kiss.....and when!
Consider that two wrongs never make a right
But that THREE.........do.
Wherever possible, put people on hold.
Be comforted that in the face of all aridity and disillusionment
And despite the changing fortunes of time,
There is always a big future in computer maintenance.
Remember the Pueblo.
Strive at all times to bend, fold, spindle and mutilate.
Know yourself.
If you need help, call the FBI.
Exercise caution in your daily affairs,
Especially with those persons closest to you.
That lemon on your left, for instance.
Be assured that a walk through the ocean of most souls
Would scarcely get your feet wet.
Fall not in love therefore;
It will stick to your face.
Gracefully surrender the things of youth:
The birds, clean air, tuna, Taiwan
And let not the sands of time
Get in your lunch.
Hire people with hooks.
For a good time call 606-4311;
Ask for "Ken."
Take heart amid the deepening gloom
That your dog is finally getting enough cheese.
And reflect that whatever misfortune may be your lot
It could only be worse in Milwaukee.
Therefore, make peace with your god
Whatever you conceive him to be---
Hairy thunderer, or cosmic muffin.
With all its hopes, dreams, promises and urban renewal
The world continues to deteriorate.
GIVE UP!

2nd, and broke.

DAMMIT

how could you get that long of a post on first
you must have had it all ready.

BLT,

'Cause I'm smarter than you.

I was up late last night and watched cspan as most political sluts will do

one with al franken and norm coleman and NEITHER One of them should be elected
the INdependent named barkly I think it was kicked their ass on economics while franken and coleman did nothing but go at each other.

I also heard TURBIN durbin and his oppenent.......a doctor who actually brought up the comment turbin made about our troops acting like nazis........thats the kind of balls that mccain should get for the next debate........

and then I listened to the oklahoma debate where inhoff has a young punk who is totally outmanned and out of place.........

pretty interesting stuff and I HAVE TO ADMIT IT

Holy Christ that was funny.

I lived in Wisconsin a few years ago. I just checked their online voter rolls and even though I am now registered in another state, I am still registered to vote from two different addresses in Wisconsin. For those wondering why voter fraud is so easy, they don't require an ID at the polls and I could easily vote three times this year.

What is preventing us from putting some ink on your finger that you can't rinse off for 24 hours to keep people from voting twice?

HUD: Five Million Fraudulent Mortgages Held by Illegals!

#34 | Posted by nanc

How is it possible that stupid bankers can give mortgages to people who could be deported at any time?

Illegals should not even be able to have checking accounts, much less get a mortgage! If we are going to nationalize banks and give them money, we should require them to check IDs and deny illegals even cheching or savings accounts. Enough is enough.

Why does the Left hate Pedro?

"anyone else hear that pacman has already been arrested for assault

jerry jones.......nice pickup........."

If the charges have any truth to them, his recently lifted supsension should be back in full force plus some....

But the Cowboys get special treatment from the league on this kind of shit so he'll probably slide....

I really shouldn't be this bitter. I'm a Giants fan. Not only did we end their season last year but I think we have the better team this year.

Why does the Left hate Pedro?

#39 | Posted by wisgod

Of course if your name is Pedro you must be here illegally.

"Of course if your name is Pedro you must be here illegally."

Pedro should change his name to Peter, no one will know he is illegal then.

From the HUD article:

"The problem began years ago when banks were forced to give mortgages without confirming social security numbers or borrower identification. As a result, illegal immigrants were able to obtain home mortgages which they could not afford."

What a stupid idea was that! Is this related to the CRA and FMAE and FMAC affirmative-action-liberal-
social-engineering?

Obama and Biden drunk at 3 am.

www.youtube.com

Thank you Democrats for your "compassion"

everyone deserves a home

John McCain: The last president who raised taxes during an economic downturn was Herbert Hoover.

That's strange. So, the last time Taxes were raised in an economic downturn, it was Hoover? Hoover? A REPUBLICAN raised taxes? ....and I was so sure the answer was going to be President 'READ MY LIPS....No new taxes' himself, who also raised taxes during an economic downturn.....AND a REPUBLICAN AS WELL!

From HJ's link:

"The problem began years ago when banks were forced to give mortgages without confirming social security numbers or borrower identification."

Forced? If that were the case, every bank in the nation would be facing this. They're not, as some banks only made sensible loans. No one "forced" banks to create 125% LTV loans, interest-only loans, teaser-rate loans, or balloon-payment loans. Nor did they force them to repackage these bad loans, get them re-rated, and resell them, leveraging bad paper against bad paper.

Many just couldn't pass on the up-front fees. Lehman Brothers passed out $2.5 Billion in bonuses last year.

"how would that help with absentee votes?"

I don't know. The fact that ink on the finger wouldn't prevent fraudulent absentee ballots doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. What percentage of Americans vote via absentee ballots?

In McCains defense, did anyone see the video where McCain asks the crowd "Who is Barack Obama" and someone yells 'terrorist'?

I don't think that was the path that McCain was going down with that line and the look on his face for a split second was one of disgust, or so it seemed, with the people shouting that shit.

Watch for his slightly stunned expression when they yell out the names....he furls his brow and looks to his left with a look 'WTF!'.

It seemed to go against his line of 'angry insults'.

See what you think. Here's the video:

www.youtube.com

So the fact that his guy used a stolen SSN and ran up 3/4 million dollars in debt, is OKAY because the banks followed guidlines set to the in the CRA of 1977/1995. and their mistake means he can benefit using SOMEONE ELSES SSN and it is not a problem..This country is doomed

-I think we have the better team this year.

Yeah. At least your team doesn't have any player problems, you know, like sulky dissatisfied wide receivers.

"What percentage of Americans vote via absentee ballots?"

I heard this yesterday, I don't remember whether on the radio or on TV, but I believe 1/3 of voters vote absentee. In Oregon everyone votes by mail. I believe in some states there is "no excuse absentee ballot" meaning you can request a ballot without providing an excuse (too old, not in town, etc). Some people in Michigan want the state to move to "no excuse absentee ballot." How this will affect voter fraud I don't know. I guess we should ask people from Oregon how they manage to run elections when everyone there votes by mail.

See where Fox Noise is in 24/7 attack mode on the Democratic nominee Senator Obama. For anyone to even suggest that Fox is fair an Balanced, is laughable. Every show every one is now spending maybe 75% of the time alloted to them to question the Obama campaign, an the rest of the time is hearing a speech by Senator McCain or Ms. Palin.....

Be not afraid America, our National Nightmare is almost over, on November 4, 2008 we will have an opportunity to bring our Country into the 20th Century, President Obama get used to it.....

The Racist nature of the McCain Campaign, have not gone unoticed, THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING, we will prevail because America is better than that....

I knew this Cambodian guy at work and he was going through the process to get his citizenship. He was so proud, he wanted to change his name to something more American. He changed his name to Pierre.

"Be not afraid America, our National Nightmare is almost over, on November 4, 2008 we will have an opportunity to bring our Country into the 20th Century, President Obama get used to it....."

Why would you want to go back to the 20th Century anyways? We already left the 20th Century behind.

I had to re read your paragraph a few times to make sure I was reading right.

"He was so proud, he wanted to change his name to something more American. He changed his name to Pierre."

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

No, 20 was not a misprint. You are that freaking stupid.

The crazy shit even retorts himself.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream and not make dreams your master;
If you can think and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

"Yeah. At least your team doesn't have any player problems, you know, like sulky dissatisfied wide receivers."

Not sure if you're being serious (referring to TO) or sarcastic (referring to Plax).

Plax doesn't seem to be that popular with the rest of Giants, who mostly have great attitudes, but he doesn't really sulk. It is actually more annoying in a way. They suspend him. His backup puts up huge numbers. And he basically says he thought of it as an extra week's vacation..... But he did play hurt all year and Eli would have turned into a basket case two seasons agao were he not around so I can't really dislike him.

As for TO - I think he's the best receiver in the league. In order for him to hurt the team, he has to be one major asshole in the locker room. I don't think anyone takes him too seriously anymore. The media just pretends it does so they have a story....

Is this sexist?

ut is it fair game? Considering that Obama was a child when Mr. Ayers was involved in those bombings, and that he has forthrightly condemned the Weather Underground's lethally insane conduct, it is neither fair nor germane.

It is somewhat less fair, for instance, than dredging up McCain's old association with an international fascist outfit called the World Anti-Communist League. Back when he joined up with WACL, a quarter-century ago, the shadowy group was a haven for war criminals, drug smugglers and other miscreants from Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Mideast, promoting the ideology of the far right, supposedly to combat the Soviet foe. Among those involved in WACL were the fascist terrorists identified as responsible for bombings in Italy that had killed hundreds of innocent people.

Was McCain, then a political neophyte, responsible for the crimes of his associates in WACL? No, but he was an adult when he signed up, and he lent his prestige to them. He says he quit, but John Singlaub, the ultra-right former Army general who served as WACL's American frontman for many years, doesn't recall him resigning.
