I saw Michelle Obama on Larry King last might, and she was extraordinary.

Didn't take the bait trying to knock her off message into Rethug talking points (anything but the economy, preferably insults, Ayers or ACORN) and showed she has what it takes tempermentally and intellectually to be a 21st century First Lady.

I couldn't help myself, but when I was watching the first debate, I thought McCain's tongue was dashing in and out of his mouth in a rather odd manner. Tasting the air, perhaps? I went to the debate on Tuesday night.

The McCain's were out of there in around 5 minutes. Cindy mostly walked behind McCain with her hands behind her back as if to say, "I don't want to sully myself shaking hands".

The Obama's stuck around for almost half an hour talking with the voters on stage. I'd venture a guess that most of those undecided voters were won over by Obama after the debate if not before.

McCain justified HIS 'no vote' as it was only 'symbolic', since he KNEW Bush was going to veto the bill anyway.
