I've been hounded by Jehovah's Witnesses to join their scamorama.

Like to hear my story?

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It seems Obama trained ACORN workers very well.

The Dems don't care about this story as long as the votes are going to their side.

How did I know that number one right wing talking point poster Kerrin had posted this bit of nonsense.
Acorn may register a few who shouldn't be even as Republican officials purge thousands of voters from voter registration rolls for little or no reason.
When they can't win on issues then they start whining voter fraud. Election fraud is a real problem which they choose to ignore.
I would be embarrassed to reveal my inability to think for myself by posting such obvious right wing talkers talking points.

Only when they don't fit your argument Danni.

Republicans purging thousands of voters? Link please? ACORN has been identified by name whereas the purging being done seems to be non-partisan (At least according to the info I have read).

WOW...Thanks!

Can't wait to hear the potatoes excuse/deflections for this one.

ACORN should be abolished. You should have to show up with a photo ID to register and then show up with the same ID on election day to vote - can't make it - tough luck. It is one of the most important acts we do as Americans and if you cannot arrange to make it to a polling place you don't deserve to vote. In the case of the military - they could easily set up polling places where the troops are stationed.

Danni,

Lay off the pipe.

Kerrin,

Keep up the good work.

Is ACORN Stealing The Election?
It's a legitimate question to raise now that the FBI has raided the offices of the nonprofit Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now in Nevada and North Carolina, two states where Obama and John McCain are running neck-and-neck. ACORN has registered bogus voters in both states.

The group's voter-registration fraud is rampant, and authorities plan a nationwide sweep of ACORN offices to collect records.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuw...more of those damn facts...I mean talking points.LOL

I don't care how many fake/multiple registrations they turn in, as long as you're only allowed to vote once. In fact, I think it's funny that these people canvassing inner-city neighborhoods on behalf of Barack are screwing him, being paid several times to turn the same name in, over and over. Some poetic justice in that.

But it won't work that way, of course. They'll register hundreds of thousands more people than actually exist, then when those people obviously don't show up to vote, will try to prove the McCain campaign bullied people into not voting.

Still funny, though.

I will vote early and often in multiple states if need be. Obama will win this election.

That's the spirit...Rasta!

"as long as you're only allowed to vote once"

FTA "The major risk of fraud growing out of mass canvassing involves the possibility of ineligible voters filing absentee ballots, "

I am sure the Acorn people do not think these people will actually vote..BUT...THEY can send in the absentee ballots for them.
Also the goofy business in Ohio makes fraud much easier...they can just drive these people to several voting places.
