Sharpton was convicted for disorderly conduct on two charges from an arrest at a city wide protest in which hundreds were arrested. The judge settled for time served and Al was released. The protest in which Sharpton was arrested was to protest the aquital of three detectives in a shooting death in New Your City.

Sharpton's been walking a tightrope for a long time with his financial dealings and bullhorn agitation. It's too bad that he's not been sentenced to some hard time. Well OJ finally got his just desserts; maybe Sharpton is next.
