Good.

I hear that David Kernel has refused to cooperate with the investigation.

Fair enough I guess.......

The lows that Democrats will stoop to. Disgusting.

I hardly call this a hack.

This was a combination of sad security on Yahoo!'s side and a poor choice of challenge information on Palin's side. She used information that anyone with half a brain could figure out...and did.

What's that tell you about HER? Everyone knows not to use easily guessable info for stuff like that.

No, not a hack. A hack assumes there was actually some sort of difficulty to overcome. There was none.

Not to say that the kid was right to do it, but the idiot woman left her front door unlocked, basically.

We want to trust her with national security? she can't even be trusted to secure her own email account reasonably well given the constraints of the system!

How about arresting the Government for their Illegal Domestic Espionage Program and their Uncostitutional FISA Law?

Why is it OK for them to violate our privacy, but not OK for a citizen to violate their privacy?

Enjoy your time in jail, Identity Thief!

"The lows that Democrats will stoop to."

The kid should be prosecuted but given our national potlitical scene, has is this a "low"?

You have to be blind to think this even registers on the shock meter.

I think it is great that an American like David can expose the carelessness that is Sara Palin.

Too bad he is the one to suffer for her poor judgement.

yes kernel is low for doing what the federal govt does.

If they try to prosecute this kid I have to words to say:

JURY NULLIFICATION!

Dark Helmet: So the combination is... one, two, three, four, five? That's the stupidest combination I've ever heard in my life! The kind of thing an idiot would have on his luggage!

Citing jury nulification will get ya kicked off the jury, you becha...wink.

He'll be hired by a security company to divise ways of stopping other hackers.

Kernell...hacking...protecting the kernel.

I thought it was funny.

Lend me your ear, Drudgies. There's not a kernel of truth to this corny story. He might be a stalker, but it'll be hard to cobble together a conviction.

I seem to recall many of the usual-suspect lefties thinking this was a Republican trick. Lemme go see . . .

Playing into Palin's hand.....

Liberal media getting hated by fairminded people.

Olbermann and Matthews demoted.

Females writers had to issue apologies (one got fired for saying the brothers will rape Sarah).

NYT quoted by Palin to her advantage.

Albright's quote used against radical feminists.

More to come....

Oh, about this hacker, he intended to find incriminating information against Sarah and reveal it, but none was there to his disappointment: and now he is headed for jail.....

Sarah rolls on....

The jury has the right to judge both the law as well as the fact in controversy. "
John Jay, first Chief Justice of the United States

If he was in the army he could have become Colonel Kernell.

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of Turd Blossom being behind this, after all he did "break into" his own candidates office and plant a listening device, then called the police.

Of course the fingers were automatically pointed at the innocent opponent and before the truth came out the damage was done and the election was over.

This has "Rove" written all over it.

YEAH!

I agree! This looks like a totally manufactured incident created in an effort to camouflage/excuse the Palins Purposeful Destruction of Evidence!

Palin's Personal Email Hacked by Haters

I call BULLSHIT. Provide a link if you can.
My guess is this is a bullshit rumor to inflame the gullible GOP base as they begin to realize that Sarah! was a huge mistake.

Sounds like a Rove tactic where he breaks into his own candidates offices and blames it on the opposition. It worked in prior political campaigns and on 911--why not pass the wisdom on to Palin?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Palin hired some and gave them her password so that the account would be deleted without having her look guilty of destroying evidence.

Just another lying crook trying to get over on America.

What a bunch of retards.

FF OohRah!

Sarah rolls on....

........right into the laughing stock of this Nation.

It's great to watch her fall so hard so fast.

Enjoy your 2009 Moose hunt woman.

Seriously, the obsession with Rove is a pathology that should be written about in psychology textbooks.

FF!

So the guy ends up in prison. What'll be his meal request?

"Colonel" Sanders.

Seriously, the obsession with Rove is a pathology that should be written about in psychology textbooks.

No kidding......

Do you think Bush ever bothered with a reach-around?

Flights of birds darting hither and thither across the sky.

A sheep bleats in its pen as the lion roars in its cage.

Kool-Aid transforms water from colorless liquid into hued nourishment.

Yummmmmmm, yummmmmmm, yummmmmmmmy.

Love in the tummy.

Afternoon delight.

Praise Jesus.

in jail he'll be in the kernell klink

He won't serve a day beyond time served already.

It will be difficult to prove any harm done.

He won't serve another day.

MP I highly doubt that if someone had done this to Obama you would be saying the same thing...

The fact is this kid HACKED into another persons account unlawfully. That is breaking the law and he should be prosecuted for it...

And UNKLEGWAR what we blame the victim now. How liberal of you... Remember that the next time some women gets raped... REJECT!!!!

That's right! Blame the victim and not the poor criminal. Obama agrees with you on this, by the way, for those darlings under 18 who might be tried as adults.

Yeah he broke the law but a Prison term would require that harm was done.

Sara, Obama, doesn't really matter. The fact is, no harm was done. He'll pay a fine and not serve another day.

Are they going to make Sara pay for the 'TEST' that would indicate any harm done to her?

Would be fitting huh?

"The fact is, no harm was done." - MANY

Don't know... just asking... what does "harm" mean? Financial, reputation, something else?

My understanding is the laws regarding this kid's theft haven't yet caught up to the punishment he'd have received had he swiped her snail mail from the mailbox.

Hey, I just live in reality.

"Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed is based on the seriousness of the offense and the criminal history, if any, of the defendant"

"""The hack set off a torrent of publicity in the US, some of it focussing on e-mails that appeared to show Palin conducting official business on her Yahoo account a possible violation of public records rules.""""

Dumb kid, dumb move, but the dumb bitch manages to strike again. Can she do ONE thing right?

Here's her debate strategy, in a nutshell:

network.nationalpost.com

MP-

Your quote does not prove that harm needs to be done to warrant a prison sentence. I'm no criminal law expert but in the classes I've taken I've never heard of such a standard. Most crimes have minimum sentences under the guidelines and I'm sure some of them include jail time. Whether the offense this kid is charged with is one of them has not been shown by you or anyone else. I looked for the indictment online but didn't see it anywhere.

Oh it's just a guess. I am no legal expert.

But I couldn't find any case of an email being hacked that lead to Prison time.

You?

"What's that tell you about HER? Everyone knows not to use easily guessable info for stuff like that."

Dumbest retort of the day.

Congrats!

Have they discounted punishing Palin for her use of a Yahoo account for offical business yet?

I guess that charge could still come down the pipe.

If the Republicans really wanted to win this election, would'nt you think they would investigate the obvious? Follow the money trail, from obama's coffers to ayers, to enemies of the United States, muslims illegal donations. There are major crimes being committed by obama and his assclowns. It is time to hold him and his extremist cronies accountable. Talk about a hitler/nazi part 2 , what did Americans not understand in their history classes? The media is nothing more than a propaganda machine, being used against America, what part of America's enemies are all in obama's corner don't you understand, how FUCKING STUPID has America become? Don't come whining and crying that you have figured it out after the fucking barn is burnt to the ground and your livestock was fried. America, you deserve everything you are about to get when you put that antiAmerican extremist in the White House, America will become a 3rd world ghetto slum banana republic, ripe for the picking of our enemies.

"America, you deserve everything you are about to get when you put that antiAmerican extremist in the White House, America will become a 3rd world ghetto slum banana republic, ripe for the picking of our enemies."

Yer timing's a bit off on yer rant, honey - Bush done done all that.

Yer timing's a bit off on yer rant, honey - Bush done done all that.

you are both wrong. GWB has not done this nor will Obama.

"Arrest Made for Palin Email Hack"

YEAH!

"Kill Him"

Sincerely

A Palin supporter

LOL

We want to trust her with national security? she can't even be trusted to secure her own email account reasonably well given the constraints of the system!

This should be the front headline of every major news media.

Why is it OK for them to violate our privacy, but not OK for a citizen to violate their privacy?

Because you can't act upon the information you gather.

Just another confessional.

okay so it pains me to say this ..........but pretty good..........

A note to David Kernell:

When you get convicted of this crime and you are sentenced to live in "Club Fed" for the next 5 years,
beware of Bubba. Bubba is that 6'6" 350 lb. predatory homosexual inmate that likes anal intercourse with soft young socialist leaning inmates. Maybe we should purchase a 5 year's supply of "Soap on a rope" for young Mr. Kernell. Don't drop the soap in the shower, David, because Bubba awaits!!!

In retrospect, I wonder if David Kernell thinks his hacking of Sarah Palin's email account was worth 5 years in the pen?

Seriously, the obsession with Rove is a pathology that should be written about in psychology textbooks.

Your dismissal of all things Rove is a true testament to how you will be as a lawyer (Shitty).

The FBI labs even concluded that the battery that was placed in the 'bug' only had a 5 hour life in total, proving that it wasn't planted when Rove tried to say it had been.

Facts.....they aren't your enemy, they can be your friend too.

I don;t think he was dismissing "all things Rove", CS. I think he was, quite rightfully, pointing out that people make Rove out to be worse then he is, to the point that he's become a legendary boogeyman capable of more things then any one man would have the time to do.

What a bunch of retards.
