I take issue with Sowell, however. Nobody really knows who the "real Obama" is, not even Obama himself. He re-invents himself with each passing day. Does he raise taxes or cut them?--yes. Is he for offshore drilling, or against it?--yes. Is he for funding the Iraq War, or not?--also yes. When you're all things to all people, it doesn't take long for everyone to figure out you're really no good to anyone.

Obama will govern based on the newest batch of opinion polls, and will adjust his Orwellian rhetoric so that he would have appeared to been on the right side all along.
