At a campaign appearance in Clearwater, Fl., the media wasn't permitted to talk to Sarah Palin supporters. When reporters tried to leave the designated press area and head toward the crowd was seated, they were confronted by campaign escorts and turned back arouund.

Can't have negative things written. Gotta catapult the propaganda.

When a high percentage of your supporters are bat shit crazy it is helpful to keep the reporters away from them.

Freedom of the Press at its finest courtesy of the right.

Danni you beat me to that comment.

I have a friend who lives in GA and has joined the "mothers for Palin" weblog, some of the posters to that site are indeed batshit crazy, praying to God constantly that she is elected.

I guess if my base was comprised of lunatics I would not want them interviewed either.

I am so nervous about the election, although I know that it's in God's hands...I can't watch the CNN interview because I signed a petition to boycott the liberal media. I can only watch FOX.

This is from a real Palin supporter. Loco.

We don't know that she's a Palin supporter. It could be a plant from the Obama campaign to make her look bad.
Sincerely,
Manni

We don't know that she's a Palin supporter. It could be a plant from the Obama campaign to make her look bad.

Palin supporters don't need the help Chair......

I have to tell you, you know, it's part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama's speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg.

This from a Reporter on the MSM. Loco

Palin supporters don't need the help Chair......

Manni said that, not me...

Well, well..Saint Sarah-the moosiah is having trouble with the public's perceptions of her?
Tryin' ta keep the press away so all she has to do is rely on McLame's spindoctors?
Da wheels is comin' of the "Straight Talk Express"
....

When a high percentage of the MSM is batshit crazy against ANY candidate, they piss and moan about access. It's a lot easier than actually doing their job, which might include talking to people who like Sarah Palin.

"because I signed a petition to boycott the liberal media."

Because I owe it to God to keep myself ignorant and voting for who my preacher tells me to.

Sarah Palin voter.

"When a high percentage of the MSM is batshit crazy"

I'd love to put a bunch of the MSM reporters and a bunch of Palins fans in a room and then let us vote on who is crazy...something tells me it wouldn't be hard to pick out the Palin fans, even before they open their mouths. The drool is a tip off.

"batshit crazy"

Limbaugh, Boortz, Noory, Jones

The MSM has put out more stories that have proven to be nothing more than bullshit. But I know that the left is addicted to Palin and these stories. I can see why this is much like keeping the needle away from a junkie.

Manni said that, not me...

Is Manni also voting for Cynthia?

The Washington Post reports on Palin yelling about the blacks, at some shithole rally in Florida:

"Now it turns out, one of his earliest supporters is a man named Bill Ayers," Palin said.

"Boooo!" said the crowd.

"And, according to the New York Times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol,'" she continued.

"Boooo!" the crowd repeated.

"Kill him!" proposed one man in the audience.

now why would the righties want to keep the press away from an event like this.

What will these batshit loco people do when gawd does NOT stuff the ballot boxes on behalf of Sarah and her loco partner? Will they leap over the net and say "nice game," or will they figure out a Christian way to waste Obama? herm

"now why would the righties want to keep the press away from an event like this."

Apparently they didn't:

The Washington Post reports...

--truthhurts

Who the hell is she, that no one can ask her questions? That seems to be the height of arrogance.........

What will these batshit loco people do when gawd does NOT stuff the ballot boxes on behalf of Sarah and her loco partner?

The Lord helps those that helps themselves. She's a muffin so keep on stuffin'.

You betcha.

Oh but you can ask Obama questions... of course you can't believe his answers

Finally, the people are realizing how openly biased the liberal media has been --- carrying water for Obama.

Example: many writers made a mountain out of Sarah quoting Albright, when the synonym support was used for help. Making it as if that was a lion-sized blunder.

witness the power of the Internet!

www.lawsonforcongress.com

the 2-party system will soon die.

They were trying to keep the press from the angry crowd for their own protection. Why are the crowds angry? Why, that's because of the lies and rumors the liberal press has been printing about Palin. Much like the crowd here. When one questions Obama they are bombarded with name calling and derogatory statements.

The so-called free press is totally in the tank for Obama and openly hostile to Palin. Why would she talk to the MF's. I would advise her to have her picture taken giving the MSM the finger.

Who the hell is she, that no one can ask her questions?

#20 | Posted by Kenoosh at 2008-10-07 08:12 PM | Reply

Who the hell are you to pretend you know English?

The story is about lazy reporters, saying they cannot interview Palin supporters -- as if the only place to interview them is at a Republican event.

Why would we let the common press speak with the queen? They are probably so backward and barbaric that they drink coffee in the morning. They are probably so uninformed that they buy it from a chain for $4.00 per cup, from a corperation that wastes thouusands of gallons of water each day.

Sometimes, now-a-days, I wish to God we could split this country in 2 and the bat shit crazy fundies could have their own country and the rest of us could get down to business. I swear, this is as bad as being a German in 1938 and trying to convince people you aren't a Nazi.

Palin quoted the New York Times as a source? I thought that was Satan's own in-house newsletter.

I got dibs on the south. all you northern normal people are gonna have to learn to sweat.

Who wants to go near Palin supporters anyway? You don't know where they've been.

Been there, done that, Lip-now y'all southern centrists have to convince the other 75% to learn to think.

Fuck that!!! cool people get the south. fundamentalists go up north.

i can tell you there is some wierd tradition in the south that affects the majority of the peoples minds. the tradition sometimes seems to be stronger than intellect.

The whole south has had a brain gain for the past 50 yrs and the even wierder thing is that some of the new people are zealous converts and the tradition continues unabated. maybe it's the weather or the southern girls, who knows?

I will never ever get used to someone telling me about a project they are doing for a car company or some exciting ballistic missile shit or even some part of the space shuttle program - and then turn around and tell you how blacks are fucking everything up.

People that have everything in the world plus a good bit of unspoiled nature but they are absolutely petrified of change and evolution, especially if it involves self-examination.

it's easier to blame it on someone else. I think southerners are not alone in that.

All the press need to do in this case is write a whole large piece of negative attributes about not allowing the press to mingle, the republican palin crap would change.

I don't understand how the press can be so wimpy, imagine back in the 70's and 80's if the press were pushed away. The front page on every paper in the nation would have Palin against free press and the 1st amendment in big bold print.

Now the press and media sit back and whine like they are unable to write about this.

They weren't all conglomerated into a few owners either. Let's face it Corporate America doesn't want Free Press in America. They want what their Corporate Friends want them to say. It's all about the Benjamins and not about the First Amendment anymore.

Larry

On (Cleveland) television today a Democratic operative pointed out that when Obama holds a rally 25-30,000 people show up, whereas when McCain holds one he only draws 10-15,000.

The Republican spokesman replied, 'That's because McCain's supporters are at work.'

There's an easy fix for this problem!

Bring back the loyalty oaths that republicans love so much!

Go read the Constitution for the FIRST FUCKING TIME.

The Electoral College creates the framework for a two-party system -- unless of course you think the Constitution is just a godam piece of paper ...

Yes, asshat, I read the article.

I also have years of experience as a reporter (print and radio) and if you want to interview someone, you find a way. People who are passionate for a candidate love to be interviewed. Easy shit.

Any reporter who whines that they can't interview someone is either lazy or making an excuse. They don't want to interview Sarah supporters because it spoils their bigotry

So when you interviewed Rudy, did you wear the thong?

Those rallies are getting downright scary. Between that "Country First" banner and the outrageous things that bitch from Alaska is saying about Senator Obama - which are just plain racist - those rallies are starting to look a lot like the ones Hitler held in Germany in the mid-30s. The crowds look a lot like those seen in old film footage of those rallies, too. Remember - the Nazi party was a POLITICAL party. I understand the Secret Service is investigating that one rally in which a spectator is heard to shout "Kill him!" when Palin was talking about Senator Obama and Bill Ayers. Don't tell me she doesn't know what she is doing. Scary bitch. Very, very scary.

Those McCain-Palin rallies need a few more torches.
Oh, and better music.
~Leni Riefenstahl

This is just the next step beyond the 'Loyalty Oaths' attendees at Bush rallies had to sign. Now, the press can't talk to supporters?

Her followers are nuts, calling the press names (stupid idea), telling a black audio man to 'sit down BOY!', and people yelling (about Obama) "kill him!!".

This isn't rational, reasonable behavior by Americans. And yet the right has the audacity to call people who support a calm, collected, intelligent and friendly man like Obama "messianic". Idiots.

The liberal media ignored Biden's error on Roosevelt and yet played ad nauseum a simple blunder Sarah made on Couric's interview.

Biden is not qualified to be Vice President, because his errors were bigger. Obama less so because he lacks experience.

But the liberal media is in an unspoken conspiracy to coronate Obama.

Legitimate to distrust liberal media.

"Her followers are nuts, ......."

She doesn't have "followers", she has supporters.

If you want to see blind bat guano followers check the Obama youth groups and the liberals on this board.

You are delusional as usual.. Biden made a gross gaffe more based on the fact that his mouth tends to run on. Palin couldn't answer simple questions about issues or history of the country she wants to be a VP of in essence showing her lack of knowledge and intelligence. Her only plus is that she can deliver on studied talking points, unfortunately without having any grasp or understanding the issues behind the talking points.

better to follow or support an intelligent, educated person than a clownish buffoon who is out to prove the theory of the Peter Principle.

You make the assertion that they're lazy and should be trying to interview "people who like Sara Plain" and when they try, they're stopped and sent back to their designated area.

Once again, Retard, did you READ the article?

It's funny that you attack the reporters for not doing the EXACT thing that you're candidates won't let them do.

I wonder what the odds are, whenever you see "press kept away from..." in a headline, that the reference is going to be about a Retardican?

80/20?

"better to follow or support an intelligent, educated person than a clownish buffoon who is out to prove the theory of the Peter Principle."

Before Obama can test the Peter principle he would have to accomplish something in the position he is in before moving up, right?

Let us know as soon as that happens because so far as a Senator his record is pretty weak.

Bipartisan legislation?

Major legislation?

Lots of hot air (got that one covered).

Well, first of all you might want to go ahead and at least read up on legislation that was sponsored or co-sponsored by Obama and passed by the congress. I guess kinda like the legislation to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of terrorists. Second, at least Obama voted for the legislation that he co-sponsored which is more than McNut did.

dear Sarah, thank you for helping Obama's campaign, it has again raised Obama's numbers. Keep up your negative attack, the right wingers love it (doesn't do much for un-decideds), give righties a false sense of winning, they will cheer you all the way to your loss!

Good Job!

What legislation has he passed that will keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of terrorists?

Please document that. If terrorists get nuclear weapons it will most likely be from Iran, N Korea of an old Soviet block country. How did Obama prevent that?

Please tell me!!!!

He has talked about it. And Talked....And Talked.... Yawn.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Why should anyone go out of their way to prove ANYTHING to you clowns when you clearly don't want to believe it.

Your 'Yawn...zzzzz' is proof that you don't want to know and won't even bother to read it, so why should anyone bother educating you?

Grow up and do it yourself, you lazy fucks.

So by default what Obama is saying is correct and what mccain is saying is worthless. And you just pointed out that mccain won't have the numbers for this election.

Idiocy abounds.

The reporters are lazy asses, anyone worth their salt would not have a problem of interviewing a palin supporter.

Just bull shit and anyone who thinks otherwise is nothing but a political rhetoric hack.

yes moneywar we know reorters are lazy. i've also seen we shouldn't trust liberal media and the mainstream media and any media. you really can't see how rediculous you truly are?

you really can't see how rediculous you truly are?

LOL!

I am sure the watergate reporters all complained because those nasty supporters of nixon wouldn't talk to them.

LOL!

Yep, the reporters are not lazy, they expect everything to come to their office and spill the beans.

LOL!

That's alot of 'LOL' Money.

I understand the Secret Service is investigating that one rally in which a spectator is heard to shout "Kill him!" when Palin was talking about Senator Obama and Bill Ayers. Don't tell me she doesn't know what she is doing. Scary bitch. Very, very scary.

The Sheriff's being investigated now, too. Not wise showing up in full uniform and speaking at a political rally, violating the Hatch Act.

Yeah, the yell 'kill him' is despicable, if it happened. At the same time, absent a conspiracy, if that is yelled by an overzealous supporter in a charged moment of high emotions, then the gravity is minimal.

But discourage it. Don't say it. Not funny and not legal.

That said, I seriously think Ayer owe a sincere apology to the nation!

I smell maverick manure.

I love this "John McCain calls himself a maverick , but he votes with George Bush 95% of the time. That's not a maverick. That's a sidekick!"

McCain and Palin's first press conference after the debate is with Hannity, very strange, to win John needs moderates and un-decideds, these are not Hannity's base. an intelligent John would go to CBS or NBC or ABC, to try to connect to moderates and un-decideds, guess he gave up just as he did in Michigan!

"Why should anyone go out of their way to prove ANYTHING ........................."

Lazy is when you make statements out of the air and then can't back them up.

All Barack Osama has even passed is a lot of gas.

It's too bad, because I want to know what they think of Sarah's swimsuit video.
