My personal stance on Israel --

I like Israel and admire the Israeli people and always have. And if Israel were to be attacked totally unprovoked (no false flag) then I would have no problem with helping to turn the country who attacked Israel into a parking lot.

But, the U.S. must refuse to do pre-emptive strikes on other Middle Eastern countries on Israel's behalf at the bidding of the far right Neocons in both Israel's government and in here in our own.

AIPAC and Israel have way too much power over our own U.S. politicians and it needs to stop.
Israel looks out for Israel first, not the U.S. -- at they should.

CC, if you read the article you see Begala went on to say "that's not John McCain...The problem is that a lot of people know John McCain's record better than Governor Palin, and he does not want to play guilt by association or this thing could blow up in his face."

He was trying to make the point that Palin's mud slinging is a practice that the McCain camp should think twice about.
