Spud'll 'splain further.
First, it's obviously part of Palin's shameless pandering to the disaffected Hill crowd.
Second, because she is the worst candidate in terms of supporting women that you can name because of her regressive policies.
Third, cos a beauty pageant runner up who used to be a bit o' eye candy as a sports reporter on a local Alaskan tv show who parleyed all that into a political career aint wot you call a feminist icon.
Finally, cos Madelaine Albright actually has gravitas and and to have her words co-opted by one such as Sarah is hilarious. Sarah resume consists of a decreasing sex appeal a lust fer power and she would need to put on a few pounds to be considered a lightweight. She's a paperweight. She's a joke.
If you can't see the humor in all that then yer not trying very hard.
She doesn't support women she wants to turn back the clock and enslave them in their own bodies.
They both stretched the truth at that debate, btw, and in Spud's mind Sarah's "lies", if you will, were worse than anything Biden sed. Spud understands you might feel otherwise.
Spud's bottom line on Sarah is that she is a canny political animal with good instinct towards working a crowd especially when using polished material written for her by someone else. However when it's just her working w/o a script she reveals herself to be a shallow, power grasping, intellectual midget who is in well over her head as Governor of Alaska and who, due to her regressive, immoral backwards-assed policies, should never be let near the levers of power in DC.
