Republican Ken Blackwell was Chief Elections Official of Ohio and honorary co-chair of the "Committee to re-elect George W. Bush" during the 2004 election. Katherine Harris in Florida 2000 had the same conflict of interest. The computer expert Connell was involved in both Florida and Ohio. What a farce.

Blackwell ordered Diebold machines with no paper trail for the 2004 elections reversing an earlier state order for optical scan machines with a paper trail.

Diebold's CEO sent a fund-raising letter to Ohio Republicans saying that he would do everything he could to help Bush to win Ohio.

Blackwell owned shares in Diebold. He sold them when a Ohio newspaper disclosed that. He said he purchased them in error. What a farce.

If that, plus the alleged connection between Rove and Connell, the politicized Justice Department under Gonzo and the missing e-mails which are possibly related to all this, isn't enough for a Justice Department and FBI investigation, I don't know what is.

So, to get this straight: you're saying he's smart enough to hide evidence and rig an election for Bush in such a way that nobody could ever prove it... but is too stupid to sell his massive controlling shares of stock in the company involved before he does it?
