I think we can all agree that Rove is a scumbag. What is interesting in this article is the mentioning of the computer expert Connell. My guess is he'll turn up dead sooner than later.

Oh and how about tying Obama with ACORN??

Already done and the MSM won't talk about it.

"
Oh and how about tying Obama with ACORN??

What an idiotic post. What election did ACORN steal???

Comparing an association with ACORN to stealing presidential elections is bizarre even for you Murphy.

I understand Bush has moved military troops back to the US for crowd control, I suspect I know when he expects to have crowds in need of control.
And right wing tools like Murphy will watch polls show Obama leading by a wide margin even as the election goes to McCain and insead of outrage Murphy will clap like a trained monkey.
Rush says clap your hands Murphy.

Sounds simple enough. A lot of Drudgies should just quit their job at Wendy's, and do some investigative reporting. Hell--this should be easy for them; Moneywar or BetelG could have their money by Friday, pay off their doublewide by next Tuesday, and take that long-awaited vacation in Branson next weekend.

Lunatic flag.

How can these radical, anti-American activists on the right continue to defy subpoenas? Why aren't they picked up on contempt charges?

When I read this sort of lib paranoia, I realize why I enjoy politics now more than any circus, comedy show, or porn site. It would be impossible to make this stuff up. When Obama and Barny Fag are running the show it should be a real riot.

"Lunatic flag."

You say that the day after a 700 billion dollar bailout was approved by Congress and at least one Congressman said that they were under a threat of an imposition of martial law if it wasn't. You say that as the nation is on the verge of economic collalpse and the leaders who have created the mess are not happy about turning the reigns of power over to those who will reveal their crimes. History is being created daily and nothing now can seriously be considered conspiracy nonsense any longer, things are so bizarre already that events never imagined are occurring right in front of us.
Sorry but I just don't believe any longer that the restraint of the law dictates our future under Bush and these criminals.

The only thing that gives me some sense of calm in the coming transition of power is that by all accounts Bush is acting like a tired and beaten man ready to go home.

In this regard, Bob Woodward last night confirmed what had long been visible to many of us---Bush lost any real personal interest in Iraq years ago.

I'd be remiss not to relate the rest of Woodward's comments----He said Bush's detachment from Iraq when Americans were dying there daily was----Well, mysterious.

Uh--Danni. The Dems passed the damn thing. If you don't like it, maybe you should talk to them.

Still a lunatic. You're a funny lunatic, though. Please don't ever change.

What kind of lunatic is someone that refuses to see what is right in front of their face just because their party is the beneficiary of the illegal activity?

There is nothing that no one will say that keeps me from believing that 911 was a 'shock doctrine'. I'm not saying that Bush/Ceney did it but they knew it was gonna happen, that is not debatable. And I voted for those bastards. I will never live down the shame i feel for helping kill america.

There is also no debate that the florida and ohio elections had some tweaking. There is no debate that our constitution was raped and shredded for power and money. There is no debate that members of both parties were complicit in all of it.

The revolution will not be televised.

The Amazing Randi has offered a million bucks in prize money to anyone who can demonstrate supernatural powers in a controlled environment. That money's been on the table for decades and no one's picked it up.

The fact that someone makes an offer like this has no bearing on the reality of the situation. Offering the reward doesn't provide any evidence that anything illegal has happened.

Notably, the story offers absolutely zero evidence of any election tampering.

It seems to me that Democrats would be well advised to STFU about election tampering, since it seems they're the ones who've raised it to high art.

The Acorn Indictments
A union-backed outfit faces charges of election fraud.
www.opinionjournal.com

And of course it's the Democrats who are supporting changes to union voting procedures to entirely do away with the secret ballot. Guess if they have their way, they'll just have us march into polling places and put our X next to the Democrat of their choice while they watch us -just to make sure we don't get confused, of course.

The fundamental problem with modern Republicanism is it lost interest in America.

Oh, there are many things it was interested in. Money, for damned sure.

But this slide into the tank some of us are still trying to arrest was caused by an essentially different vision of America than most of us were raised to have.

Losing the WH is the least of what the Republican Party deserves. I'm still up for a few prosecutions. Who's with me?

I remember this forum just 4 years ago with the rightwingnut jobs talking about how fucking great their party was... the "landslide victories".

This ACORN shit is just more sour grapes and doesn't go anywhere near the slaughter and drain of financial resources that the Irag war is.

if anyone should STFU... It is the ones that did the happy dance for that fiasco.

I mean seriously floks.. who was all about trickle down economics?

Zat, I had to go look it up, what the hell putney swope is. This sounds like something i would groove on and i don't know how it escaped my attention all these years. I was looking at your link and i found this unrelated gem. 'ethereal cereal' i watched it like 10 times.

www.youtube.com

how does, 'the revolution will not be televised' relate to putney swopes? i'm not being snarky, i want to know, cause like i say, i liked the art.

are you talking about the whole 'what as happening at the time' thing? the first time i heard 'the revo..' it was already old.

Now I'm running low on Lunatic Flags. I've placed a bulk order for 10,000, made in some sweatshop in Guatemala. But at this rate, I'll be empty again by election day.

Please. Slow down the douchebaggery.

why is this news? I get accosted pretty regularly by this dude in downtown Atlanta that claims George Bush is responsible for all of his problems and insisting that means I should give him money.

(the fact that he's an obvious druggie couldn't have played any part in his situation of course)

Hey rightisright, I could use a few of the Lunatic Flags as well.. I've run out.

NMG--I get mine from a factory that also designs "I Love America--I'm A Liberal Democrat" bumper stickers. For some reason, they have a lot of spare capacity. I'll put in an order for you.

"The fact that someone makes an offer like this has no bearing on the reality of the situation. Offering the reward doesn't provide any evidence that anything illegal has happened."

Nor does it prove that nothing illegal occurred either. However, there is plenty of information available to anyone interested the creates a pretty strong argument that, especially in Ohio in 2004, the election was stolen. I doubt though that any real investigation of it will occur as long as Republicans control the Justice Dept.

Is it Jimmy Carter?

I used to live in Atlanta myself. I always thought it was amusing that the Jimmy Carter Center didn't have solar panels.

The Democrats control Ohio. One would think they might be interested in something like that, if true.

Then again, maybe they're just lazy. I know, I know--a lazy Democrat, who works for the government? But it's possible.

Please. Slow down the douchebaggery.

If you and mng no would stop putting those douchebag signs in your front yards during election time, you wouldn't be running low.

Bob Fitrakis is a political science professor and attorney in the King Lincoln Bronzeville civil rights lawsuit against Ken Blackwell. Fitrakis, Rosenfeld and Harvey Wasserman are authors of What Happened in Ohio? A documentary record of theft and fraud in the 2004 election.

Did the most powerful Republicans in America have the computer capacity, software skills and electronic infrastructure in place on election night 2004 to tamper with the Ohio results to ensure George W. Bush's re-election?

The answer appears to be yes. There is more than ample documentation to show that on Election Night 2004 , Ohio's "official" Secretary of State websitewhich gave the world the presidential election resultswas redirected from an Ohio government server to a group of servers that contain scores of Republican web sites, including the secret White House e-mail accounts that have emerged in the scandal surrounding Attorney General Alberto Gonzales's firing of eight federal prosecutors.""

What amuses the retort is that even republicans running in this year's electiona re abandoning references of GW BUSH and his administration, knowing the country is sick of GWB's lies, distortions and destruction.

And yet, here we are, still reading posts from the right wing-nuts on this site holding on to their Messiah.

Listen, liberals.... the process my not be perfect but it was fair. No one manipulated illegally to steal the 2004 election in Ohio.

It was not stolen: it was given.....

Yes, that's right, God gave Ohio to Bush.

One day an African American will become President. But not this time. Wait a few more years.

John McCain will win this election and he will not die in office --- cheers!

I found out that I'm registered at both my current and previous addresses. Would anyone check if someone were to vote as me at my old location? Obama 08 baby!

Have you made arrangements with Ol' Scratch to take his place when the dice come up snake eyes?

More of the left wing propagada.........as usual!

What excuse will they come up with when they lose this comming election!

Saddam had long term plans to bring down the US --- though we finite humans cannot see or understand such deep secrets. But God knew it and demolished Saddam.

Go ahead throw all the blames you can find --- but God knew Bush would do the job and placed him in the White House. FOR THE GOOD OF AMERICA AND THE WORLD!

And God is responsible for protecting Bush, which is why the liberals cannot impeach Bush and they are frustrated to no end. BUSH WILL EXIT OFFICE WITH DIGNITY AND VINDICATION!

Among the fictions rigid righties toss about, like McC having a snowball's chance in Miami, is that Democrats somehow draw blame for the Wall Street mess. Maybe Clinton's BJ had something to do with it.

Last night Moyers filled in the blanks. Yes, Dems went along with the sacred Repub mantra of deregulation. Yes, this meant big profits for bankers at usurious interest rates, but it meant a chance of rat-free homes for the working poor.

But the biggest blank was the working poor's jobs moving south - or west, or east. Replaced by 18-cent-an-hour Malaysian teen-agers, the working poor couldn't make their payments.

A million in a year! THAT is where the real blame lies. herm

Takietz, speaking as a religous person myself, you've gone around the bend.

Does none of the blame for the mortgage situation lie with the fools who took out the mortgages? We have a government school system that completely neglects teaching economics. I have never seen a government school vict- uh, graduate that had been taught about savings, credit, securities, or any financial instruments. They're turned out into the world with no means of financial self defense beyond what their equally uneducated parents gave them. They're immediately accosted by credit card companies, ideas of what kind of car they "have" to own, and messages that their credit rating actually matters.

"Government school...."

Ah, a Boortz fan.

I have a vision of Rove as Ned Beatty in "Deliverance" after he's convicted and sentenced.

"Take off them panties......."

I'd imagine the bankers that gave them those loans were almost always government school victims, too.

So your solution is to eliminate universal education? I mean, that's Boortz'.

By all means teach the masses about savings and finance. But the real key to being rich is insider trading, contacts on the FEC, and a family that already has money. Ask George W. Bush.

"Equally uneducated parents...."

Republicans don't see themselves as human beings, really.

"Does none of the blame for the mortgage situation lie with the fools who took out the mortgages?"

In a word, no. Let's stipulate that they are not too bright. If someone offers them money for a roof over their heads, only 98 percent interest each year and the rest of their lives to pay, they'll probably grab it. Not having had the benefit of an economics class at some state university. herm

HERM,
If I offer you some of the best weed for pennies on the dollar... you buy it and later get busted... is it my "fault" you took me up on something you know could mess up your life?

Look, I think this situation falls mainly on the Dems and to a lesser degree on Reps. Consumers don't share in the blame in terms of setting policy and oversight of practices, but consumers are accountable for their actions.

We've all heard the saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." To risk your family's financial situation on something you know, in your gut, is risky... is, well... risky.

There's verified evidence of all the following:

Republican Ken Blackwell was Chief Elections Official of Ohio and honorary co-chair of the "Committee to re-elect George W. Bush" during the 2004 election. Katherine Harris in Florida 2000 had the same conflict of interest. The computer expert Connell was involved in both Florida and Ohio. What a farce.

Blackwell ordered Diebold machines with no paper trail for the 2004 elections reversing an earlier state order for optical scan machines with a paper trail.

Diebold's CEO sent a fund-raising letter to Ohio Republicans saying that he would do everything he could to help Bush to win Ohio.

Blackwell owned shares in Diebold. He sold them when a Ohio newspaper disclosed that. He said he purchased them in error. What a farce.

If that, plus the alleged connection between Rove and Connell, the politicized Justice Department under Gonzo and the missing e-mails which are possibly related to all this, isn't enough for a Justice Department and FBI investigation, I don't know what is.

Even if the reward was $100 Trillion...you would not find fraud. Ignorance is the most expensive commodity in the country.

OORAH

Is it your fault I was arrested from buying drugs from you? No. But that doesn't make you less than a filthy drug-dealer.

Look, I think this situation falls mainly on the Dems and to a lesser degree on Reps. Consumers don't share in the blame in terms of setting policy and oversight of practices, but consumers are accountable for their actions.

Ooey, you want the usual Republican bumper sticker reply, but it's a bit complex, depending on how attractive you made your - er - goods and how dumb I was. Now I consider myself brighter than all Repubs (and a majority of Demos) and might well be to blame. If you entice YOUR people with the wonderful aroma and then call the law when they light up, YOU, Ooey, are the culprit.

Enticing the unfortunate with too-good-to-be-true stuff OUGHT to be a crime. herm

So, to get this straight: you're saying he's smart enough to hide evidence and rig an election for Bush in such a way that nobody could ever prove it... but is too stupid to sell his massive controlling shares of stock in the company involved before he does it? Oh but wait, a few seconds of research proves that isn't even close to what happened, never mind how stupidly ludicrous it would be to think anyone's that devious and retarded at the same time.

Ten thousand dollars of stock out of his portfolio worth several million is not proof of a damned thing except a guy who invested in a giant portfolio and happened to get some Diebold stock with it. I don't know a hell of a lot about investment and whatnot, but I DO know about purchasing diversity investment packages. You get this big giant list of things, and you have a broker that handles them for you. You're not buying individual stocks, you are buying the whole portfolio. Mind you you CAN take a second to second interest in what said portfolio contains or does not, but shit.. that's what a broker is for and WHY YOU BOUGHT INTO THE PORTFOLIO IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Now much as I believe the election was stolen.. I do.. we will NEVER find any proof of it if we keep going down imbecilic lines of reasoning like this. This is almost as bad as Michael Moore's whole, "And his second cousin's third wife's brother's business partner was.. Osama Bin Laden!" *cue ominous music* or whatever the hell it was he said about the people who left America the next day.

How about offering another $100 Grand to "prove" that the Democratic party wasn't in complete cahoots with the Republican party in letting them "Rig" those elections? After all there is really only one political party in America and its owned and run by the Corporate Elite!

Diebold sells ATM machines to banks. They are secure, or unmarketable. Yet, their voting machines are easily hacked. They know how to do better yet chose not to.

Caging and deliberate misdispersion of machinery and paper disadvantaged Democratic strongholds and minorities, particularly blacks.

Rove and O'Connel refuse to testify.

Lets pretend we live in a Democracy, because the ugly reality is to difficult to contemplate.

You guys should leave Rove alone. Isn't working for Faux News punishment enough?

I believe Karl Rove has an alien anal probe up his ass and he's reporting back to Uranus all the details related to a new intergalactic science study titled, 'why does hard core right wing males harbor secret fantasies about being bent over a dirty toilet in a truck stop?

if you don't believe me look at his shoes, they are specially designed for optimum tappity tapping while in a wide stance.

so if the elections were stolen, do we get to go back and do a do-over? on everything? how wondy is that?!?

Nanc-
Imagine how wonderful it would be to go back in time and remove the doubling of the debt, the impending depression, and the foreign policy fuck-ups of eight years of Republican "leadership".

And I imagine no conservatives. Two countries fixes that right up. Start talking separation to your friends. Conservatives want and deserve the kind of leadership we've had for the last 8 years. In fact, they can't get enough and want 8 more with McCain.

With two countries, we both live in the country that has the government that suits them. No liberals in your country--no conservatives in mine. You get McCain as your President--we get Obama.

That's a change I can believe in.

Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Dodd... that's change to believe in all right. What was the Dem's mantra in 2006... change! Of course no one bothered to ask details.

Its hardly change when Obama votes about 100% across his party lines... WHEN he votes... Good riddance...

You are right danni but it will take a lot more than 100,000 to take down these criminals. They have much deeper pockets.

Afterall, we the people just wrote them a blank check for over a trillion dollars.
