Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

1. TAX VOTE: Biden said McCain voted "the exact same way" as Obama to increase taxes on Americans earning just $42,000, but McCain DID NOT VOTE THAT WAY.

8. OIL TAXES: Biden falsely said Palin supported a windfall profits tax in Alaska -- she reformed the state tax and revenue system, it's not a windfall profits tax.

9. AFGHANISTAN / GEN. MCKIERNAN COMMENTS: Biden said that top military commander in Iraq said the principles of the surge could not be applied to Afghanistan, but the commander of NATO's International Security Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that could be applied in Afghanistan.

10. REGULATION: Biden falsely said McCain weakened regulation -- he actually called for more regulation on Fannie and Freddie.

11. IRAQ: When Joe Biden lied when he said that John McCain was "dead wrong on Iraq", because Joe Biden shared the same vote to authorize the war and differed on the surge strategy where they John McCain has been proven right.

12. TAX INCREASES: Biden said Americans earning less than $250,000 wouldn't see higher taxes, but the Obama-Biden tax plan would raise taxes on individuals making $200,000 or more.

13. BAILOUT: Biden said the economic rescue legislation matches the four principles that Obama laid out, but in reality it doesn't meet two of the four principles that Obama outlined on Sept. 19, which were that it include an emergency economic stimulus package, and that it be part of "part of a globally coordinated effort with our partners in the G-20."

14. REAGAN TAX RATES: Biden is wrong in saying that under Obama, Americans won't pay any more in taxes then they did under Reagan.

Get a life, bonehead.

Your 'source' is the McCain campaign? Was it too early for it to have appeared on Newsmax and Fox News?

check them out for yourself, d.c. i have. step away from the kool-aid first.

Don't believe this article as the source of it is the Palin-McCain campaign and in the next 33 days to the election they will do and say anything to get elected include lie, distort the truth and end peoples careers. Best for you Sarah is to resign so you don't get painted as a liar too as all of this will haunt you in any re-election bid for Govenor in Alaska. I am sure the Dems up there are counting the lies and distortions of the truth you have already made or have supported of the McSame campaign.

Nice lies John McSame.

2. AHMEDINIJAD MEETING: www.youtube.com

keep graspin at the straws nanc. it's over for mcgramps and ding-dong.

Joe Biden never does anything wrong. Ever since he's been discipled by the Great Obama, he's a picture of rectitude.

Articles like these will not be helpful to Obama's salvation of our once-great Republic. They challenge the faith of all Americans, for no reason. Please refrain from posting similar articles in the future.

"...salvation of our once-great Republic...

You're channeling Johnson, right?

No. I've seen the light, and will brook no criticism of Obama, or His Great Archangel from Scranton, Joseph of Biden.

RightIsn'tRight: The poor man's Johnson.

You're not helping, Doc. I'm trying to align myself with the messianic one, before the Big Day. Don't you have surgery or something to perform? Medicaid patients to overbill?

To remove your delusions of grandeur?
Didn't the first lobotomy take?

I've no delusions of grandeur. I'm a total nobody.

BTW--are you a neurosurgeon? If so, I have a couple of questions for you, offline.

"BTW--are you a neurosurgeon?"

No, historian.
Joking aside, I hope the situation isn't too serious.

Maybe I'm just in a goofy mood today. Laughed out loud, though.

It's just a way of burning coal and capturing the pollution that it puts off. We have enough coal in wyoming and other places to power this country for hundreds of years but it is a type that is high in sulphur and other pollution causing issues. So to use it you have to wash the pollution out of effluent and not let it end up in the atmosphere.

I worked on designing one of these clean coal facilities that is currently being built in NC. It was cool as shit. The effluent that went to the chimneys was full of all kinds of bad shit. It was bathed in a solution, the solution absorbed the greenhouse gases and the by-product was gypsum (the same stuff that's in your drywall in you house). The solution is sprayed in at the top of the chimney, it falls and absorbs shit, and by the time it gets to the bottom of the chimney, it is small lumps of gypum.

So they built a gypsum drywall plant next door.

news is news i always say - wherever it is found.

Nanc-
...unless it's on PBS, right?

Dont believe this article, its source is the Palin-McCain campaign and not an independent source.

And before you get your panties into a knot, I know the Enquirer "broke" that story.

If I said anything about it at the time, (and I didn't) I would have said "Holy crap the Enquirer got something randomly right! Well, you know what they say about broken clocks." which is, you know, also what I said later about it. I STILL don't think the Enquirer got the Edwards story broken. You know why? Because they say _everyone_ in politics cheats on their wife. If you shoot an accusation at every living breathing politician, eventually you're gonna actually hit a few dead on target.

Now, with that in mind, when did _I_ ever say the Enquirer was a reputable news source worth considering? You're confusing me with Rogers. Which blows my mind, because the post was a shot AT Rogers for doing so!
