No but I have done that sort of thing once back in March of 2000 in Nashville Tennessee. For 3 whole days I called people randomly. Well the computer did I just talked to them. I thought it was fun. We would have a script we had to read and well when things got boring I started changing My voice to make Me sound foreign. Of course others started following suit and it was a blast. But I have never received one of those calls Myself. You got lucky.

no, TTL! our number is unlisted. but, i do enjoy opening all my leftwing junkmail, replying in red sharpee and returning it to them in their own postage paid envelopes with the suggestion, "IF YOU EVER CONTACT ME AGAIN, I WILL FILE HARASSMENT CHARGES AGAINST YOUR ORGANIZATION!"

We never had access to telephone numbers. The computer just dialed the numbers for us. I think My area was Minnisota,Wyoming and Nevada. Like I said it was a blast. Oh and we got paid daily so that was good. 70 bucks just to sit on Your ass for 8 Hours talking to people. Can't beat that.

Oddly enough-I don't get automated calls anymore-if the line is dead when I pick up the phone-I just hang up.
Needless to say-everyone who calls knows to speak up right away-or their call just goes by-bye...

I have done the same recently as well. Sometimes I can hear the recorded voice begin as I take the phone away from my ear.

"IF YOU EVER CONTACT ME AGAIN, I WILL FILE HARASSMENT CHARGES AGAINST YOUR ORGANIZATION!"

I bet they recieve your response and try to imagine what kind of lunatic you are. My bet is they laugh their asses off when they get it. Do you have lots and lots of bumper stickers on the back of your car???? Confederate flag on your living room wall??
