At the trial prosecutor Brenda Morris struggled to explain why some evidence especially FBI reports of interviews with their star witness, businessman Bill Allen, about gifts to Stevens had been withheld or heavily censored. The judge said the prosecutors were violating rules of evidence requiring them to share information that could help criminal defendants prove their innocence.

I wonder if these prosecutors will lose their legal license and be going to jail themselves?

Not much experience with the American legal system, eh?

This is serious for the prosecution to do this.

The best the prosecution can hope for at this point is sanctions.

Delay found a loophole in the election law, and instead of doing his public trust, i.e., closing it for the betterment of society, he exploited it to the point the Texas legislature (of all bodies) had to make what he did illegal.

Let me repeat: it was so egregious, even the Texas legislature outlawed it.

He may not be guilty, but that doesn't mean he's innocent.
