Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

John McCain's recent performances make one thing clear: He's the GOP's version of Ru Paul, prone to the stereotypical mood swings and "diva" behavior associated with the drag queen subculture.

Can You imagine John McCain in drag?? I can't.

Larry

The thought of John McCain venturing into territory heretofore the domain of Rudy "Hey, Have You Heard About 9/11" Giuliani (littlemissattila.mu.nu) is a bit daunting. But after his non-suspension suspension of the his campaign---what's next, double-secret probation?---and the ensuing farcial behavior, I'd say if you gave him a tutu he's just about ready to perform in "Swan Lake."

DOC posted it and then comments on it like he has something to add to drivel he already stated.

So it would be acceptable to post a description of Obama in orange corn rows and a red leather mini dress?

What are you, the quality control polizei?

It's an article. (You didn't know that, though, did you, Lazee Boy?) People post all kinds of articles here all the time. You read any of the stuff that's been slapped up here about Obama? This is mild. McCain's been widely knocked for being a Drama Queen. For this columnist to note that he's become the GOPiggies' RuPaul is hardly a surprise. Obviously it's provocative, since you're waddling around on the prod this a.m. Hey, RuPaul's better than calling him "The Lady Chablis."

My, my, but we are a bit sensitive on piercing McCain's image shield, aren't we? The guy is now and always has been a Drama Queen. His over-the-top, overwrought, self-serving, full-of-shit performance since he "suspended" his non-suspended campaign clinched the deal and firmly branded him with the sobriquet. Hey, cupcake, he earned it.

You no like? Find yourself another candidate.

As Andrew Sullivan observed back in mid-August, referencing McCain's over-the-top reaction to the Russian-Georgia dust-up:

McCain:

My friends, we have reached a crisis, the first probably serious crisis internationally since the end of the Cold War. This is an act of aggression.

Not the invasion of Kuwait? Or the first Gulf War? Or the Afghan war? Or the second Iraq war? Or Darfur? Or Bosnia? Or 9/11? It's this kind of emotional hyperbole that should worry people about McCain in the White House. He's a drama queen on these issues. With a finger on the trigger.
