Reminds me of a fortune I got in a fortune cookie in Chinatown(NYC) in 1982; it read:

"If everyone is jumping out of windows, there must be a reason why".

Some fortune.

For the love of money...

What a pussy to take the easy way out and leave his wife alone to raise their son.
I hope she finds a better man.

Actually it would take guts to jump in front of a train.

People call other cowards, pussies, etc... but not actually.

Hell, it's a good start anyway.

Now, if we can just get the rest of the bankers to follow his lead we'll be on our way to freedom.

That's so 1929.....

FF NORTHGUY !!

I read this story yesterday and there were other reports of suicides by bankers and investment types over the financial crisis they have all helped to creat but the ones committing suicide all seem to be from Great Britain.

It's about time some of our own U.S. sleezy CEOs for these investment houses and banks start to take a flying leap out of their office highrise windows too.

Bunch of friggin' thieves and con artists on Wall Street.

Bobo, don't forget politicians and lobbyists.

We frequently read about civil unrest and uprisings in other parts of the world (almost always third-world countries). People often wonder why Americans haven't risen up yet against the Corporate-Political collusion. It's because they've had much to lose, or have thought that way. However, events of recent are certainly going to create a groundswell of people who have lost everything. That is going to be the most interesting thing.

I hope more scum Wall Street types follow this guy's lead. Reducing surface population through scum killing themselves is good news.

And why would a man want to marry the guy's wife, unless he wants to be an ATM for her and her brat kids.

Banker leaps to his death?

OMG! Did he land on somebody?

No? Well, alright then.

Be Well.

10 posts and not a mention of GW or Republicans...a new drudge record!

That's really sad. Some say suicide is a very selfish act, and it leaves his family shattered.

Whats' also sad but not unexpected is the response of the dr left, truly pathetic, poor excuses for human beings....

Asshole!

There were two suicides by train last week here in Chicago.

Last Wednesday, a homeless guy stepped in front of the 4:48 express train to Aurora.

Delayed our train by 40 minutes. The train that hit him was stopped on the scene for over two hours, with all the passengers stuck on it.

This guy didn't care about anyone.

I'm sure his kid isn't scared by his suicide.

Oh spare us your sermon! If I wanted to hear a sermon about morality I would attend church, which I don't.

This guy did us all a favor.

Maybe he just REALLY wanted to catch that train.

I doubt his suicide had much to do with the financial crisis. In 1929, people jumped because they were ruined. Today's executives don't have nearly the stake in their companies that those in 1929 had.

If this guy's company had collapsed or if he had been fired, he had tens of millions in cash and other holdings to "make it through".

Fuck him. People die everyday. No one's death is more tragic than anybody else's.

DaveTheWave- Your comments make YOU sound like a liberal. What do you give a shit if this guy killed himself? I hope more of these overpaid scumbags follow suit. And what makes these scam artists more important and more paid than a teacher or EMT technician? Get off your soapbox.

His old lady probably collected a bundle on insurance.

Most insurance policies don't pay out in the case of obvious suicide.

They are jumping too, but their golden parachutes are saving them.

That is true. And besides, the insurance company is probably broke anyways.

banker jokes are going to replace lawyer jokes soon...

Throwing oneself in front of a train is very inconsiderate.

Did he think of the trauma he was inflicting on the driver ?

I'm glad that both this banker and Paul Newman are dead.
The both deserved it. The banker for being a banker, and Paul Newman for that horrible dressing and Cars.

You're a dick.

Paul Newman's role in Slapshot earned several instances of 'turning the other way' when he acted gay.

You have no heart.

"You have no heart."

Didn't The Wizard give him one?
Or was that DeBakey?

Zat,

Oz gave him a heart, but he promptly broke it.

Oz didn't give nothin' to the Tin Man
That he didn't already have

HOW DARE HE!

Evangelicals don't believe in gravity though, it's just a theory.

Nonsense, David Blaine's death would be much less tragic than mine.

"Actually it would take guts to jump in front of a train."

Not when you are doing so because the alternative scares you more.

Go DethSpud! I get in an occasional zinger, but yours are always on! Way to go! Funny Flag!

I disagree. There is a kharmic balance that has to be maintained. Now I am really waiting for a total asshole to die to balance out the loss of Paul Newman. Sort of like what happened when Dr. Seuss died and he was balanced out by Klaus Barbie.
