Said the rabbit to the tortoise.

China to US

Yeah, you shut up now, we rich country, you not.

I'm glad China is now walking around space. The way their population is going to swell into the billions in another 50 years China is going to need to find another planet to hold them all.

Space wok, huh?

I wonder how the stir fry works in a vacuum.

Yves Rossy "Fusionman", the Swiss guy who flew across the English Channel on Friday with a jet powered wing strapped to his back, was a much more meaningful and ground breaking voyage.

Here's a 9 minute video from his jumping from the plane in France to landing in England:

It's absolutely amazing!!

now THAT'S what I call Chinese take out!

Chinese Astronaut Space Walks, huh?

It's pretty cold out there-he better put on a jacket.

Maybe even a pair of mucklucks.....

I recently found out that we're planning on going back to the moon with the space shuttle's successor, the Constellation. Kind of cool if you like space stuff.

Landed safely.

The US still holds the record for number of astronauts killed.

China no doubt is using information that was gleened from early U.S. space flights, kind of a lessons learned. Regardless of you communist loving haters out there, if it were not for the U.S having done this before, it's doubtful china would be there now. I dont think it's a doubt, previous U.S. flights made it possible for china to do what it's done today. I.E. I wonder if they are using mathmatical calculations in space that the U.S. or Soviets came up with 50 years ago?

Basically what I am saying is, I dont think china is reinventing the wheel with space flight and I dont think they think they are either...they used alot of what we have done...

I wonder if they are using mathematical calculations in space that Newton came up with 400 years ago?

Not to mention Copernicus.

The US still holds the record for number of astronauts killed.

And what's your point with that? We also have been in space alot more than other countries. In order to be a leader, you must take risks..risks have concequences, but the payoff is huge

Cmon Zat,

You know what I am talking about. You dont think they have benefitted from our past mistakes?

Here's a nice read for you, www.amazon.com

The shuttle's a turkey.

"You dont(sic) think they have benefitted(sic) from our past mistakes?"

I don't see them building a shuttle, that's for sure.

" if it were not for the U.S having done this before "

Rockets were invented in China.

I don't see them building a shuttle, that's for sure.

I'm not so sure I agree. The U.S. is taking such a beating lately about other countries going into space, and not receive enough concerning our past strides. We and the Soviets are most likely the reason these counties are able to do this at all. We should be looked at as saying to the chinese, Good job, Grasshopper...

Rockets were invented in China.

Inventing a bottle rocket and putting a man in space are two different things. The rocket concept may have originated in china, but the booster rocket on the shuttle was invented by the U.S.

"but the booster rocket on the shuttle was invented by the U.S."

Yup

It blew up, too.

It blew up, too.

Yes, mistakes will happen. But imagine the chinese astronauts lives saved because of the american lives that have been lost. If the americans and soviets had not done the tough work before, I surmise alot more chinese astronauts would be lost to what they dont know. They should be thanking the countries that have come before them..

turkey, turkey, turkey ...

Chinese Astronaut Space Walks

I thought Michael Jackson was in the ME..
When did he teach the Chinese Astronauts how to dance?

The space walk was a success.

The disappointing part was that the Chinese who are genius in selling 'anything' to the world could not persuade the space aliens to buy their milk --- but this portion of the information was censored by the Chinese government.

China to US..... You make fun of us, we sell you on ebay.

Funny Flag, Uncle!

The US still holds the record for number of astronauts killed.

Officially at least. Methinks the godless commies may have lost a few on the downlow. Besides, nobody has sent up as many as the US, or as many at once.
