The second is the "possibility" that McCain will die or get too sick to complete his term. I was attempting to show that it's highly unlikely to happen - short of an assassination. Now if you want to argue whether a POTUS is likely to be assassinated (and you're not) then I'd contend you'd probably think it more likely for Obama to be offed than McCain.
