MSNBC has pulled an ad from Brave New PAC and Democracy For America that demands John McCain release his medical records and quotes doctors saying that McCain's age and cancer should raise concern, with one saying that another round of cancer would "profoundly impact his capacity to lead."

Good for MSNBC. This is a first step toward regaining its sense of neutrality and some goodwill from those who feel it has gone over the line too many times.

God is going to vote in this election and its going to surprise the world!

Also this election will provide vindication for George Bush!

Im gonna vote for McCain, but I do think that its not outrageous to ask for medical history of the person who could be leading our country.

Now I remember why I hate politics so much. The ads going out are sleazy. Guess they have to match the politicians.

Speshly when the VP candidate is well, you know, alarmingly unqualified to fill the position.

but...but..she can see russia from shithole alaska!

And the Dem presidential candidate is as 'unqualified' as the Rep VP candidate, with the Dem VP candidate having 2 brain anuerisms (sp?) in his past.

Dead man walking.

Listen Sarah, if you're reading this....

If/when your foreign policy credential issue comes up, always start by saying....

" Senator Obama is seeking an on the job training presidency --- that's what his own Democrat colleagues said. As for me, I have learnt a lot from my recent visits with heads of States...."

Be honest. Be precise. Nothing to hide. And move on. You'll be a winner if you stick to this message. (stop mentioning the Russia thing).

Medical History is ABSOLUTELY pertinent to the question of who should be president. It McCain is laid up doing chemo, rehab, comatose or otherwise disabled, that's a BIG DEAL.

I absolutely wanna know what the odds are the the idiot Palin will be running things while McCain is laid up!

Poor poor Takitez. I have heard that the pharmicutical companies will provide meds to you if you cant afford them.
Good luck with your mental illness.

Please pass me some Oldwhiskey --- I am writing a speech and I need some deep sleep before digging into research.

You should talk to your doctor, for only they can know the correct dosage of Lithium you need. Self-medicating is risky, as you've just proven.

Sara 'Failin' Palin: Governor of state with a population roughly equal to Memphis!

"Sara 'Failin' Palin: Governor of state with a population roughly equal to Memphis!"

It would be more appropriate to call her Das Burgermeister of Alaska.

ALL TIME LOW FOR MSNBC

There.

Fixed That Fer Ya.

Be Well.

Batshit crazy flag.

Demanding medical records for a presidential candidate is inappropriate???

Does everyone have amnesia???

Can't you remember the Swift Boat Liars???

John McCain should release his medical records. I don't understand how anyone could vote for him and Palin without at least having confidence that his health will hold up til 2012.

A truly tasteless ad, but after we get over that, what about it's content? Can we say that anything is false in the ad?

Seriously, don't we have the right to ALL of his medical records? Especially now in light of the obviously unqualified Palin a potential heartbeat away from the oval office?

I spoke to God personally and he told me that takeitez is a deluded little boy.

He also told me he is voting for Obama. What did he tell you takeashitski?

Isn't McCain's health an issue, especially in light of the Palin pick? I think it is, and if McCain hasn't released his medical records, then it is even more of an issue. I saw the ad and didn't think it was out of bounds.

Hmmmmm ....... That's also roughly the population of Vermont. But just a few years ago the mayor of Vermont was somehow qualified for the TOP of the Democrat ticket.

Today, being a first-term senator from Illinois now qualifies for the TOP of the ticket?

VERN-
Dean = Governor vs Mayor. But your point still holds. Same thing for Clinton, the former Gov of a state near the bottom of most things (education, income, etc)

On a side note, would someone like Colin Powell be qualified? Is running a war and being a diplomat enough "experience?" He's never held office or run companies to my knowledge, though I haven't research it. Yet I think sizeable portions of either party would embrace him as a candidate, certainly so before he backed Dubya regarding Iraq.
