Sen. Ted Stevens, his career and his freedom in jeopardy, did the honorable thing as he went on trial yesterday on corruption-related charges. He blamed his wife.

Gotta luff watching the old fart dancing as fast as he can here. The "first sitting Senator to be indicted in a generation" is essentially saying about the largesse he recieved and did not declare (as required by law) that his wife takes care of all that and he didn't want the stuff anyway.

Woo Hoo!

Also gotta like the "I paid all the bills they sent me" defence when he knows damn well that some of the stuff did not come with bills.

Luffed this part:

FTFA: Using a court-provided hearing device and sticking out his lower lip in a perma-scowl, he muttered a protest when the prosecutor spoke of his failure to pay for the renovations, grumbled when she mentioned all the add-ons at his home, and tossed his pen down when she mentioned the Land Rover he got in a sweetheart vehicle swap.

Man in order to get rid of all of Steven's lies and graft gifts you need a massive series of tubes or sommat.

Maybe a Big Truck!

Be Well.

Did Spud mention that Sarah Failin was the head of Ted Stevens PAC even after he was being probed fer irregularities?

Spud is sure he mentioned this at some point.

Be Well.

Great big balls of bullshit!

That bastard stinks sooo bad-I couldn't stand to be in the same STATE he's in, at ANY given time.

The moosiah is just as bad.

Christ almighty-how CAN you tell when a retardlicker has a botched Lobotomy?
They always vote republican.

That bastard stinks sooo bad

~Frank.

Ted Stevens stinks on ice.

Tht's prolly why he became a Senator in Alaska, come to think of it.

Be Well.

Hey I was under the impression Republicans believe in TRADITIONAL Marriages. If this is so then how dare He blame His wife for His failings. Doesn't the Republican Right Wingers claim the Man is SUPPOSED to be the Head of the Household?? If that is the case then He is head of His household finances as well. What a complete and utter shmuck.

Larry

He took it like a man.
And blamed it on a woman.

It's not unusual for a wife to handle the finances in a family but somewhere along the line Stevens should have noticed that his Alaskan "chalet" was growing taller (maybe he thought the snow was melting) and like any husband, he probably asked how much it was costing.

Unless, of course, he already knew!

$000,000.00

Since Palin is in so tight with oilin' and pipelinin' in Alaska and Palin was the head of Stevens' PAC, she and Stevens both probably, and conveniently, looked the other way and decided nobody would notice.

What was that she said? Something about cleaning up the corruption in the Republican party in Alaska.

Well, she missed one!

A really BIG one!

I thought the place just somehow magicked bigger.
~Ted "Huh?" Stevens

Hey I was under the impression Republicans believe in TRADITIONAL Marriages.

Sure, so long as the partner in your snow machine business is not a good listener you are okay.

Maybe he can find some loving in the Minneapolis Airport mens room.

Sen. Ted Stevens Throws Wife Under Bus

Just like Rangel did.

Maybe he can find some loving in the Minneapolis Airport mens room.
