I went round and round with Goatman on this not too long ago, when Deroy Murdock's article appeared in "National Review Online." We have only Murdock's word for the validity of his statement, since he's released nothing to fully explain his methodology. Goatman's position seemed to boil down to the position that because Murdock included the phrase ceteris paribus ("all other things being equal") in the piece, it was, ipso facto (see, Goat, more Latin), A-OK. I'd say that rates at least one bullshit sneeze.

Welll, doc, I've seen you take things as fact without more 'proof' than Murdock provided, so I guess it all boils down to a partisian thing and what you choose to believe.

But, if you'll remember (I'm sure you won't because it inconveniently hurts your argument) someone -- I don't remember who -- posted a web site with these positions and descriptions. It was the site that Murdock cited, and presumably based his cetera paribus (that's the proper spelling, btw) assumption on.
