Michael Moore is a loser!

I'm glad Gustav destroyed his credibility and effectiveness.

Yeah, all that money and all those awards he has sure proves what a loser he is.

"Yeah, all that money and all those awards he has sure proves what a loser he is."

But does go a long way to prove his manipulation skills.

Is Direct to Web better or worse than Direct to DVD.

Sounds worse given that even I could make a movie and put it directly on the web.

What a bunch of morons you republicans are. Once again, instead of watching the film, you attack it.

Talking Points from your Moron Mission Command Center? Limbutt? O'Liely?

WATCH THE FILM, THEN SPEW YOUR HATE. It's free. It won't cost you a goddamn dime.

But don't forget to memorize the various names of the San Diego Businessmen, the Virginian Republicans, the Colorado republicans, and the Utah Business men, ALL REPUBLICANS who tried to make deals, filed lawsuits, and at one point, offered $100,000 to university student councils to cancel Michael Moore's appearances in those cities.

Why did 'God' make all republicans Ass-Bags?

Michael Moore, giving something back to america.

"Once again, instead of watching the film, you attack it. "

Once again before you think you knee jerk. Not one so far has "attacked" the film, just the film maker and after bowling and fahrenheit i think we can all agree he deserves it. But on the other hand no one in their right mind will ever watch a moore movie without a healthy dose of skepticism.

After Bowling and Fareheit you should have divorced yourself from Republican thinking.

There is a difference between Skepticism and slandered taught to you bozos by Fox News.

But noooo...Attack attack attack...

Ass-Bags

Michael Moore has no credibility....

Michael Moore has no credibility....

He has more credibility than McBush or Fundy Ferraro.

Realise that's not saying much.

Be Well.

He also has more credibility than FIXED News, Rush Limpbow, Mickey Savage-Weiner, Michelle Malcontent, mAnn Coltface, Bill Kristolmeth and you combined.

Not that that's hard to do or anything.

Be Well.

Mike Moore, great American, has credibility with me. If Bowling, Fahrenheit, Sicko and Roger didn't convince you, his latest effort probably won't. So go back to your GOP rat hole. herm

Herm,

I watched Roger and Me in college - it was an assignment for a contemporary American History class I was taking.

I really enjoyed the film.

Years later, I became quite jaded when I learned that Roger Smith granted Moore not 1, but 2 interviews.

I appreciate the fact that Moore does expose some bullshit. However, when he mixes so much fact with fiction, he taints the entirety of his works.

Years later, I became quite jaded when I learned that Roger Smith granted Moore not 1, but 2 interviews.

Not true, but Moore bugs me for many other reasons.

Years later, I became quite jaded when I learned that Roger Smith granted Moore not 1, but 2 interviews.

But only after the filming had stopped and the thing was being edited.

And that only because Roger learned of the film.

Be Well.

It's a movie; Lights being flashed on a screen.

Get over it.

Once again, instead of watching the film, you attack it.

Fat Ugly Chick Who Can't Get a Man;

A person doesn't have to watch a Michael Moore film to know it's crap. From "Roger" forward everything he's made is garbage, lies, misquotes, etc. This is just the latest bunch of shit.

And why does he have to give it away for free now? Because he has no credibility (except with crackpots like you) and he hopes fools like you will then lay down $20 for the companion book.

What a loser

Don't confuse ole Vern with the facts. "(E)verything he's made is lies."

Now THAT should be easy to prove. We've named four Moore films. All meticulously researched and fact-checked. Do you have a real example or are we just spewing again? herm

"However, when he mixes so much fact with fiction, he taints the entirety of his works."

Right. Who we gonna believe, you or our lyin' eyes?

EVERY filmmaker and even news sources have an agenda, and sure- things can be put in different light through editing but I've heard Moore haters call uncut video footage of interviews 'fiction, garbage, lies, misquotes, etc..'

I watched the movie today- it's a documentary of his 2004 tour. No big expose like his other films- other than to show what a bunch of pussies the republicans were when Moore was coming to their town. If he's so off base, why we're republicans so afraid for him to speak?

The man is a true American- and a brave patriot of our times. His fight is for the common man- even when he's David fighting Goliath. Not a bad way to spend a life.

There is more truth in any ONE of Moore's films then there has been in the entirety of the Bush presidency.

we're going to see "an american carol" when it comes out.

You don't have to be Nostradamus to predict An American Carol won't last two weeks in first release and will wind up languishing in Blockbuster's 4 for $20 bin in under six months. Another low-brow Zucker fart joke movie aimed at the Tucker Carlson fan club crowd. Enjoy Nanc...you'll probably have the theater all to yourself, so feel free to talk back to the screen. Who knows...it could become the right winger's Rocky Horror Midnight show.

I quite enjoyed Sicko, especially the part when he recounts how he anonymously sent a sizable check to the guy that ran that bitchy anti-Michael Moore web site who had to close it down because his wife was sick and he was going broke paying for her care. I would like to have seen the look on the gentleman's face when he learned the man he hated so much helped pay for his wife's hospitalization.

just speaking for fahrenheit 911, have there been any points proven false? There was that article shown from the Pantagraph newspaper that was actually just a modified opinion piece or some such. that is honestly the only credible claim that I've heard. there was the factbook that came out along with the movie I know and they did quite a bit to defend the movie.

my biggest problem with it was just the winking at the camera jokes that were in it. playing an ironic song with a scene or the opener to bonanza showing bush's group of leaders. I know that's michael moore style but who directed fog of war or why we fight. I couldn't tell you because the directors weren't onscreen making jokes while proving a point about the horrors of war.

eventually I planned to watch this new movie (currently without internet using a cellphone to visit the DR) but then I read this review
www.avclub.com/content/cinema/
slacker_uprising
the av club is fairly open about their disain for the current administration so its not the right moore hatred tainting the review. it sounds like this movie is going to hurt his image. he might have started as a standing up for the little guy but with all of his notoriety and alleged influence he seems to have "gone native"

Fahrenheit 911 wasn't exactly filled with false points so much as it was extremely misleading. Remember the scene where Moore and a few other people are standing outside the Saudi embassy and some members of the Secret Service come up to them and ask what they're doing and such? Moore implies that this is because of the ties between the Bush and the Saudi ruling family. In actuality, a branch of the Secret Service is designated to defend foreign embassies in D.C.

The entire movie's full of points like that, but Moore uses humor and straight-up propaganda to distract from these points.

I have to get around to watching Sicko.

Despite not being a Moore fan, Sicko was actually pretty good; of course Moore uses some propaganda points and doesn't tell both sides of the story, but it wasn't bad and I got a few laughs out of it (the boat headed to Cuba was pretty dang funny!)

As long as y'all realize that Moore, like most media, has an agenda and watch his movies with a healthy dose of skeptism, I don't see any harm in viewing his films. I usually like to make some notes on "controversial" points he makes and then go check them out with an independent source. I have yet to see Roger and Me, but my wife (from Michigan) says it's pretty good. Maybe I'll have to check it out one of these days.

oh baby

just wait until the release of
"american carol" by one of the zuckers....I think it is........

the whole move centers around this fat pig and it should be a real MONEY MAKER......unlike most of moores bullshit..........

and the thing is this movie AS WELL AS MOORES are all fantasies, but this one wont be passed off as the truth...............

cant wait for that one

HEY SO IS MOORE WORRIED ABOUT ALL OF HIS WIFES STOCK IN THESE EVIL CORPORATIONS THAT HE HATES with all this finnaincial crisis??????????????

"In actuality, a branch of the Secret Service is designated to defend foreign embassies in D.C."

No, actually as Moore pointed out in the movie the Saudi embassy was the only foreign embassy guarded by the Secret Service...but nice try anyway.

"unlike most of moores bullshit.........."

Er...I believe that at the time Farenheit 911 earned more money than any previous documentary.
Hundreds of millions.

"No, actually as Moore pointed out in the movie the Saudi embassy was the only foreign embassy guarded by the Secret Service...but nice try anyway.

Is that so?

The Foreign Protectees and Foreign Missions (FP/FM) program's purpose is clearly defined in statute as follows: (1) to protect visiting heads of state, heads of government, and their spouses (HS/HG/S), and other distinguished visitors to the United States as directed by the President, and (2) to provide external security to foreign diplomatic embassies and missions in the Washington, DC area (and other limited areas, consistent with statute).

Nice try, anyway.
