The lawsuit, filed by the Wisconsin Attorney General, seeks for the Government Accountability Board to order town and municipal clerks to verify the identity of voters who have registered to vote via third party groups since Jan. 1, 2006. Given that over 40 workers in Milwaukee from ACORN and similar organizations have been referred for prosecution for turning in phony voter registrations, I don't see any reason to oppose the checking of said registrations other than supporting voter fraud.

What possible reason could there be for the state Democratic Party to object to such a common sense approach...

Wisconsin could very well decide the election this year. Kerry won Wisconsin by about 9,000 votes - I'm guessing many of them fraudulent given that most fraud in Wisconsin happens in heavily democratic areas.

Hell, we've been fighting this since 2000. Last November, Milwaukee counted 3000 more votes than the entire registered population in the County. It's become a fucking joke.

Democrats think the consitution is "just a piece of paper."

Their silence on this issue is very telling.

" Kerry won Wisconsin by about 9,000 votes "

What a winning strategy.
