Spending too much in Ohio is also a losing strategy. After a while voters just get sick of the political ads. Osama spent huge amounts in Florida and did not get a corresponding return.

First it was 57, then 50, now 10. The incredible shrinking candidate. At this rate, he'll have pulled out his 30,000 volunteers and send them all to Cuyahoga County, OH. The "one county" strategy.
