Me too Jeff. Personally, I don't think it will come to that. I think many older Dems and Independents will swing to Obama despite his color. Of course, if young people turn out in droves, I really don't think Obama has a problem. It seems that 18-35 year olds aren't affected by race like older people are.

I do agree with the point of the article and I posted something similar on Saturday - this isn't a republican issue, Dems need to clean up their own back yard.

Hillary won't get it in 2012. I am willing to bet that the ticket will be Gore/Obama if he doesn't win this year.

I don't know if Gore would want to enter politics again. He seems to have found a niche that he likes.

Pirate, he would get back in if the timing were right, and I think the timing would be perfect if repubs are in controll for another 4 years.

Obama will fade back into the nothingness he came from when he losses and the dems will probably end up picking another poster boy in 2012 unless they can pull their heads out of their asses and scrounge up a legitimate candidate. Aside from that, gore has become little more than a joke and doesn't have a chance anymore.

When you look at the last 2 presidential elections, both of which were very close contests, why do they want to blame racism on a Dem loss? I believe there is a stronger, underlying reason.
