That's hilarious. I want my driveway to play the "shave and a haircut..." melody.

Or "La Cucaracha."

I always do that with the ridges by the side of the road, the ones that wake you up if you're going into the shoulder. I like to do little rhythms and melodies.
Here's one in Japan...

What's the definition of a cultured person?
One who hears the "William Tell Overture" and doesn't think of the Lone Ranger.

I once heard that if you drive 60 MPH, the lane dividing stripes are exactly in time with the "Duke of Earl".

I heard it once on the radio, slowed down to 60, and found out it is true.

LOL. I'll be honest, it reminds me of the threesome scene in Clockwork Orange.

I guess Calif has enough money in their coffers to do real nice things like that. Good thing they have plenty of money to spare.

I don't understand how anyone could have possibly thought that whatever effort went into this was worth it to the taxpayers.

Hey, the Rabbit of Seville is a classic.

Your hard earned tax dollars at work. SHIT!

*** California Road Plays 'Lone Ranger' Theme ***

.....my arsehole plays the " Charge of the Light Brigade " when I drink enough beer.......

TFD: Watch Apocalypse Now and try NOT to think of "Hunting the Wabbit" during the helicopter assault.

Sully- I expect it was some traffic engineer's idea to set the tune to play at a certain mph, so people would drive that speed to hear it, rather than the usual annoying sound.
