Palin appears to be losing some of her initial appeal as Democrats make gains in the polls.

A majority of voters think Biden is able to replace Obama if necessary. A majority think Plain isn't ready to replace McCain. Three quarters polled believe McCain picked her to help him get elected, not because she's qualified or experienced enough to lead.
Unless John can find some new lipstick, he's toast.
Or would that be caribou barbie-qued?
And nobody knows (least of all McCain) where he stands on economic issues. But everybody knows 4 decades ago he was a POW, which is pretty well what his whole campaign is based on. Running on failure.

"Wait for the debates...."
The VP debates? Why? So we can see Palin declared the winner if she manages to go an hour without fainting?

Yes indeed. Seriously, if she can blurt out a one liner that she's been rehearsing for weeks and manage to not slobber all over her self everyone in the liberal media will declare mission accomplished.

Despite it all, it seems we'll have another close election this year. It's still anybody's race. I just hope the losing party won't try to sue their way to victory.

Well in response to your statements above, I particularly like this clip of Obama:

"Sen. (Joe) Biden has tremendous amount of experience," Palin said in an interview scheduled to air Thursday on Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes.""I think he was first elected when I was like in second grade. He's been in there a long, long, long time." . . . "So he's got the experience," Palin noted. "He probably has the sound bites. He has the rhetoric. He knows what's expected of him. He is a great debater, also. So yes, it's going to be quite a task in front of me." apnews.myway.com
Translation: "I'm lowering, lowering, lowering the bar to save my sorry ass. Yup."
