Alas poor Wallace.

Eye knew him well.

A fella who wrote "Infinite Jests".

Another dead canary inside the coalmine.

Hanging?

Feh, Hunter's suicide at least had pizzaz.

Spud had a favorite cartoon once wot he hung onna fridge fer ages.

Is of artist with a gun to his own head preparing to blow his brains out all over a fresh canvas.

Lady walking by down the hall leans in and says...

"It's been done".

Spud sez this now.

RIP DFW.

Be Well.

Had only vaguely heard of him. Read his Wikipedia entry and his article on Roger Federer. America, Canada and Mexico as O.N.A.N. and corporate naming rights taken to their ultimate absurdity. I can see why that pisses the Lee Atwaters of this world off. Possibly Federer does too. What narrow and bitter lives they all lead.

The comment from the leeatwater entity is beyond despicable. A better man than he went into the Good Night from which there is no return.

Dies? sure kinda like when Elliot Smith "died".
