McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes.

Last note on the story:

On the other hand: I don't know what to make of this interview with the New York Times. He sounds awfully web savvy in it, which makes the Obama ad sound unfair. And if you read it closely, it sounds like he knows how to surf with a mouse, but doesn't do much by way of typing.

Its kind of ironic that Obama is putting out this ad without checking on the INTERNET FIRST to see if there is a reason behind it.

Obama can't deny this one - he approved this message.

clip.www.youtube.com

It didn't stop Clinton.

Besides emails can be subpoenaed.

He might have trouble typing. But he's not so disabled that he's not whupping Obama's ass with one hand tied behind his back.

I see no one can defend Obama's decision to approve the ad.

Right, you've got that right. I think people are getting a little disillusioned with the big O.

Waahhfest'08.

Obama - "Can't Touch This '08"

I see no one can defend Obama's decision to approve the ad.

Bullshit.

There's been plenty of journalists who typed with one finger of each hand. Voice recognition software has been around for over 10 years, and it continues to improve. McCrazy has been riding the sympathy train since he first ran for the House. He's a pathetic whiner. Poor Johnny.

Man up or shut up.

"But he's not so disabled that he's not whupping Obama's ass with one hand tied behind his back."

A war hero and 26yr veteran of the Senate finally pulls even with an obscure black man who was a virtual unknown two years ago, and that's a "whupping"?!?

Oh, I forgot...you're using the Republican book of definitions, available at Vernon's Calculator Store.

AA--

You bring up something else on the Obama and National Security issue.

Do you realize that if Obama were to apply for the FBI or CIA--they wouldn't let him in the door?

Here he is running for POTUS and he would be turned down for security clearance because he has dubious associations--especially with Ayres.

He would be turned down for Special Ops too.

Probably a lot of other high security jobs in the gov't.

And this is the best that they can do an ad on--??

Pretty pathetic actually.

Pretty pathetic actually.

and saint sarah would qualify?

pathetic.

When you look at the author's last note on this story, it seems McCain is in fact doing more on the internet than the ad would have you believe.

So either way you cut it, the ad was wrong, wrong, wrong.

* * * *

LOL. Oh, is that how you lefties are spinning things now? He's just a poor black man from Chicago, nobody even knows his name . . .

Hysterical. Run with that, and lemme know how it works out.

"is that how you lefties are spinning"

Says the guy who calls a tie, a "whupping".

Obama is no techie.

Here he is running for POTUS and he would be turned down for security clearance

John McCain made anti-american statements to save his own skin during his imprisonment in Hanoi. He shouldn't be allowed any clearance either. So if that's your qualifier, McCain shouldn't be allowed to step food inside the white house, let alone occupy the oval office.

Give Me A Fucking Break !!
Steven Hawkins Can !

Blind, Lame Cripple And Crazy People Use A Damn Computer !

IBM Had Voice Recognition Software Out In The Early 90's

I Have A Signed Copy Of His Damn Book That He Signed Right In Front Of Me And Trust Me He can Use All His Digits, He Can Pick A Bottle Of Beer Too !

"IBM Had Voice Recognition Software Out In The Early 90's"

And it really, really, really sucked then.

Now it just really sucks.

Obama can kiss good-bye to a lot of votes with that ad. Is he TRYING to lose the election, or what?

You know the Obama campaign is hurting real bad if this is the best ad they can come up with. Crash and burn time!!!!

McCain as victim continues. I think that's pretty funny, in a sad sort of way. Let's elect McCain - he's 100% disabled according to his pension! He can write, he can type, he can use a computer.

I am learning to get online myself, and I will have that down fairly soon, getting on myself. I dont expect to be a great communicator, I dont expect to set up my own blog, but I am becoming computer literate to the point where I can get the information that I need including going to my daughters blog first, before anything else.

"I don't e-mail. I've never felt the particular need to e-mail."

John S. McCain - poor, poor, too physically disabled, McCain.

****** McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. ******

......yet he votes against benefits for veterans.......

Danforth,

The fact that this race is even close, is in and of itself an ass whooping.

given Bushes approval ratings after the last 8 years, it should have been a cake walk for any democratic candidate to waltz into the White House.

Look at the last Super Bowl....the Patriots should have destroyed the Giants, the Giants eeked out a circus catch victory...I'm from Boston, I considered that game an ass whooping for the Pats.

I'd love for someone to deny that there haven't been at least HUNDREDS of posts on this site stating that after George Bush the righties would be crazy to think Barak wouldn't win this in a landslide.

"The fact that this race is even close, is in and of itself an ass whooping."

Yeah, I get it: new, improved, Republican definitions.

Besides emails can be subpoenaed.

If Bushco taught us anything, if the e-mails are illegally deleted, then they cannot be subpoenaed.

That article in the LA Times, mentioned in an earlier comment in this thread...

Obama is a techtard?

The article is here.

McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes.

Doesn't Mcsame have anyhting to run on that happened in the last 40 years?

Didn't stop him from scamming the taxpayers on the S & L fraud, selling government property to supporters for pennies on the dollar or using his greatmilitary expertise to tell America Iraq would be a cakewalk and the war in afghanistan was already won.

In other words, just being a typical Republican.

"an obscure black man"

Funny, you only describe him that way when trying to minimize the fact that McCain is even with him in the polls.

"...you only describe him that way when..."

...someone calls a "tie" a "whupping".

And two years ago, if someone had told you a war hero and 26yr Senate veteran like McCain would be running neck-and-neck with some obscure black man named Barack Obama, you would have laughed in their face.

That's right, I would have, Danforth. Because I would expect any democrat, regardless of obscurity, to be 10+ points ahead of any republican after 8 years of Bush. Much less a guy like McCain who even conservatives don't like.

So do you agree a "tie" is a "whupping"?

A tie is not a whupping. However, it's a lot further ahead than I'd expect any Republican to be at this point, much less an old fart like McCain.

This country is polarized red/blue.

The Dems could run Rocky the Flying Squirrel against a Repub Boris Badinov and the polls would be 49/48.

"he cant raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball--

Funny how he threw out the first pitch in game 7 of the 2001 World Series.
