Regardless, I honestly believe that we should stay on the right side of international law. There's supposed to be a difference between us and the bad guys.

It's funny -- you often hear that Republicans win on values, and I think that's right. I don't think it's because more Americans agree with their values, though, but because the Dem side doesn't articulate our values and/or push rhetoric that's consistent with them. Americans are sick of Bush and supported Obama early on because they WANT change. It would be great to hear him stand up and make the case for respecting international law, for him to remind people that we're a great country not because we can bomb the sh** out of anyone we want, but only when/if we respect and defend human rights and the rule of law.

If the Pakistanis don't stop it, then those injured by Pakistani dereliction must resort to self-help.

The Pakistanis can eliminate "interference" if they stop "the interferers" from using Pakistan as a launching pad and sanctuary for attacks on others. If the Pakistani are unable or unwilling to do this, then they can't object to other interference. The U.S. actions are "reactive," not "proactive." The reaction can be avoided if the Pakistani government asserts its sovereignty against interlopers, and eliminates them itself.

The U.S. has exhibited undue restraint by failing to eliminate those opposing us with technology. If the Pakistanis were to indicate that nuclear weapons were in action, their nuclear weaponry could be obliterated in a wave of attacks lasting less than a single day.

We had over 700 incidents of intrusion with positive locks on their aircraft. But we were not allowed to fire if the debris did wasn't going to fall on the Pakistani side of the border.

Over a dozen kills with Russian pilots and a few with Afghan pilots.

One of the more famous "kills" was Alexander Rutskoi (who tried to take over Boris Yeltsin's job). His Nig was going at such speed our F-16 couldn't catch him, so our pilot shot him with a missile anyway. Because of his speed and height, even though he was shot inside Pakistan, his plane crashed well inside Afghanistan.

He was about to be butchered by the afghans but we rescued him and he later became our buddy. LOL

All computer data and videos of the kills were sent to the Americans to make their new fighter planes even better.
