Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Wow! No wonder McCain has so many houses: his wife has the price of a Scottsdale split-level hanging from her ears.

But Obama is the elitist.

Mayor Mooseville told me so.

my shoes cost 25 bux

Um...I think only Joan Rivers cares.

This place is getting ridiculous.

That ghastly gold outfit Cindy McCain wore should be on the Worst Dressed List right away. And those bangs are scary.

That woman is a trip.

This place is getting ridiculous.

It's the cost of highlighting hypocricy!!!

Nice deflection Corky. -Bristol Palin

yes but how much did she spend on her haircut?

It's the cost of highlighting hypocricy!!!

----

Kerry was the 2004 Dem nominee and he's way richer than McCain.

Hillary is richer than Obama and she tagged Obama as elitist during the primary.

Hypocrisy is in both parties.

A vote for McCain means three-carat diamond earrings in every pot.

It's a new kind of populism, lmao.

"A vote for McCain means three-carat diamond earrings in every pot."

Well, McCain did say he wants everyone to be rich.

Didn't you know all the middle class can afford to drop $300k on an ugly outfit that will be worn once if you earn $4,999,999.

The real question that is being overlooked is which one of the seven closets she owns will contain that monstosity until it is thrown out?

The outfit looks like something a trollop would wear. Incredibly gaudy, Laura looked much better than Cindy. I would not want the first lady of the US to dress like that when visiting foreign leaders.

Cindy McCain's $300,000 Outfit

Another typical Hockey mom..

Danni,

Jon Stewart said that Cindy was taking no precautions with hurricane Gustav and came prepared with her own "neck levies".

What's the point in buying expensive shoes if you're training to be a suicide bomber?

"Jon Stewart said that Cindy was taking no precautions with hurricane Gustav and came prepared with her own "neck levies"."

IKE!!! YIKES!!!

she wore the color of the Republican party

Laura and Cindy....definitely the Stepford wives..

On a related note, the Boston Herald points out that Sarah Palin's hairdo is like, soooooo 20 years ago: news.bostonherald.com

I laughed out loud when I saw that bit on the Daily Show.

Not that it matters, ahem, but Cindy McCain looked rough last night -- $300K outfit be damned.

Not to bore the crap out of the guys on here, but actually, most women don't consider their good jewelry to be the same thing as clothing when talking about "fashion outfits." Your clothing outfits are one thing, your good jewelry is another, and are usually the same jewelry pieces you would wear most of the time whether you had on any clothes or not. An example would be an expensive ring you wore all the time with all of your outfits.

So, technically speaking, Cindy's $250,000 3-carat earrings shouldn't "count" as part of her $300,000 outfit. If that were the case, Cindy could wear a pair of $300 jeans, a $150 t-shirt, a $400 pair of sandals, and her $250,000 diamond earrings and the media could still say she wore a $250,850 "fashion outfit" which makes no sense.

Other than furs, most women would not take out an insurance policy on their clothing (other than furs) but they sure would have an insurance policy for their very expensive jewelery. But then again I don't own $250,000 earrings so, maybe in Cindy's multi-million dollar world, her 3 carat diamond earrings are to her the equivalent of wearing costume jewelry.

...here, but actually, most.... = ...here but, actually, most....

I wonder if Bristol Palin wants Cindy to adopt her:

Bristol, upon returning from a shopping trip in Anchorage, received Palins nod of approval for the $15 dress she bought for the nights gala they were about to attend. No need for a $300 gown, Palin said.

But when Bristol revealed she spent $30 on leg waxing--"That was supposed to be gas money," Todd Palin said disapprovinglythe governor wasnt too happy, either.

"Thats a waste of money, she said. You have razors."
