Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Successive speakers at the Democratic National Convention poured scorn on President Bush's economic record. The right fails to see that without real wage growth a very large part of the American public is not sharing in the fruits of their labor.

The trickle downers believe that soundbites will be enough to fool the middle class into believing they are better off under Bushco policies. But when wage growth is non-existent the symptoms of voodoo economics manifest themselves in foreclosures and bank failures.

Without real wage growth, inflation in food and energy will eat up more and more of middle americas monthly budgets. The right doesn't see that as a problem.

Of course when your definition of middle class includes someone earning $4,999,999 per year I guess they wouldn't.
